This little B&B is a fabulous find! Todd and Barbara are fabulous hosts and the house is marvelous. The best part for us is that no matter what window you look out, all you see are trees. You can hear the traffic, but the house is secluded. Breakfasts are huge and tasty!

We stayed in the Cedar Room. This little suite is off of the upstairs sitting room and consists of a small bedroom with queen bed and a window nook bed. We had some of the best sleep of the summer here.

The location is great, too. We were 15 minutes from Division street restaurants (definitely stop into Salt and Straw!), and we were on the correct side of Portland to go to the waterfalls and to get to the airport.

We had a great time, and feel like we are old friends of Todd and Barbara. We are already planning our next stay of Forest Springs.

Room Tip: The Chesnut room has a shower and is larger. The Cedar Room is cozier, has a tub with hand-held spra...

Great location. Tucked back against the woods, Forest Springs is so inviting. Todd and Barbara have a way of making you feel at home. My wife is a stickler about clean accommodations and this B&B exceeded her expectations. The bonus was a fantastic breakfast each morning. How can you beat fresh waffles with a homemade berry compote or the frittata packed full of veggies and cheese. In a word....delicious!

My husband and I decided to forgo the traditional hotels and opted to stay at this charming bed and breakfast while in town for a wedding. What a great decision! Todd and Barbara are gracious hosts. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room we stayed in was cozy and comfortable - it felt like we were perched up in the trees! The home has so much character. We loved the wood floors, big windows, and fireplace in the living room. For breakfast Todd made us a feast - coffee, OJ, fruit, eggs, bacon, and waffles with berry compote and syrup! We loved sitting out on the patio in the evening and playing with Brie, Todd and Barbara's dog. They have cats, too, but they stay away from the guest space which we appreciated because my husband is allergic. We'll definitely be back!

My wife and I came here for honeymoon, we had problems getting our rental car the first day, so we didn't have dinner when we got to the place and had no way to get it. So Todd and Barbara made us dinner. Then Todd took us to get a new rental car the next day. The breakfasts here were great. The room was clean and well maintained. The property itself is beautiful and well maintained, it is surrounded by trees so the house seems very private.

We had a lovely time visiting with the owners, Barbara and Todd, at the Historic Heiney House in Gresham. Their accommodations were superb and we especially loved being able to sit out on the veranda to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. We also really appreciated their willingness to accommodate our dietary restrictions - they went above and beyond!

If you're looking for an enchanting B&B to stay at, this is the place!

We were in town for our son's Wedding and our stay at Forest Springs was the perfect compliment. The rooms are lovely - since we had both rooms upstairs for ourselves and our older son, the Best Man, it was like a Family Suite. Todd & Barbara were great and generous hosts allowing us to entertain other out of town guests at the B & B. We loved the ambience, the breakfasts, the location and the sheets! Very comfortable bed and welcome place to stay after long drive from SF Bay Area to Portland Area!

Room Tip: Parisian Room (name has been changed to Chestnut Room I think) has private bath with double shower h...

This was my second stay there, the first being 6 or 7 years ago under a different owner. Todd and Barbara are most welcoming as hosts. The breakfasts were fantastic and unlike some B&Bs, very generous portions along with a lovely variety. Despite this, the price was very reasonable.

I stayed in the Chestnut Room and slept as well as I do in my own bed. It's roomy and comfortable. The grounds around the place are quite nice.

Yes, it is a bit far from downtown Portland, but I enjoy getting on the light rail in downtown Gresham and taking a relaxing ride into the city. In addition, I found some nice restaurants on Main Ave., Gresham upon taking Todd's advice to check out the area.

Although the pets, a rambunctious Swiss Bernese "puppy" and an in-your-face Maine Coon, are not allowed in the guest areas, I was given permission to interact with the whenever the mood struck me. It was a very homelike feeling. Thanks Barbara and Todd for improving upon an already great place. I"m from Massachusetts but hope to return some day.
