Owner description: The WAAAM Air & Auto Museum has one of the largest collections of still-flying antique aeroplanes and still-driving antique automobiles in the country. The items on display at this museum are not only full of history, they're full of LIFE! Enjoy over two acres of indoor exhibit space.

This museum is an eclectic collection of antique flyable airplanes, think Stearman, Piper, Curtis and many more. Add to this are autos from steam and antique electric to muscle cars and much in between, Fords, Chevy, Studebaker, Packard, Dodge, GTO, etc. Early model motorcycles, Indians, Harleys, and many others are mixed in. If you have flown, driven or rode in your life, there is something here that will bring a memory back or kindle a wish, so don't miss this attraction.

Thanks for the review. We always like to say there is something for everyone to enjoy at the museum. It's important to us to keep this history alive so try to time your visit with one of our Second Saturday events so that you can experience living history at its finest.

Three buildings of flyable antique airplanes and drivable antique and classic autos plus displays of antique memorabilia and a few antique motorcycles. Kid friendly "hands on" area.

Thank you for reviewing. You really hit all of our major highlights. Don't forget we don't just say we fly and drive the collection - you can see us doing it on every Second Saturday of the month and a few other special occasion times. The next time you can see us flying and driving is during the Hood River 4th of July Parade!

Thank you for reviewing. We love it when events can happen at WAAAM because it draws a different crowd that might not have thought about coming to an airplane and automobile museum - but as we like to say, "there's something for everyone to enjoy" so events always turn out to be a lot of fun.

Thank you for the review. Our volunteers help keep the museum awesome - from the docents enriching the museum experience to the crew keeping the planes flying and the cars driving and everyone in between - we couldn't do it without them. Of course we consider anyone who helps spread the word about WAAAM to be part of the family too!

The WAAAM is an area attraction not to be missed. The quantity and quality of the antique airplanes, cars, and motorcycles is truly amazing. The facility is first class and the staff/volunteers are so knowledgeable. So interesting to hear about the history of the planes and cars. Tours and rides in antique cars are often available. Restoration is actually done on site. Not enough can be said about this hidden gem. We were so lucky to happen upon it.

Thanks for the review. Our volunteers are the lifeblood of the museum - from their expert knowledge about the collection to their expertise in keeping the collection flying and driving - each day is a good day to visit and different then the last because of the wonderful mix of people propelling this museum forward.
