This place is about the fun of wine rather than the stogy, serious side. The tasting room, just off the main drag in Hood River, is peopled by young, good-looking staff, one of whom seemed a little bit embarrassed about launching into her spiel in front of my wife and I, who I am certain are her parent's age. Nevertheless, she smiled brightly and soldiered on, explaining that their mission is to get people to "take naked home and get naked", which I assumed she meant philosophically. They want wine to be accessible to young adults: to introduce it as a useful enhancement for an intimate emotional relationship. I cannot argue with that. After all, wine really should be fun. I can say that if you go here, expect innuendo an a fair bit of "know-what-I-mean" winking.
By the way: The wine was passable but not memorable. And, I liked the friendliness of the staff.
