“Never miss a chance to visit Las Palmas”
Reviewed 4 May 2013

We visit at least once a year and never miss eating at Las Palmas! Inside or outside eating areas...great food and wonderful Margaritas! It is run by family and they remember us everytime! Full of local people who enjoy the food and the atmosphere of eating at this friendly restaurant

“Our Favorite Mexican Food”
Reviewed 3 May 2013 via mobile

we have been eating here for years our kids have grown from small children into college students and when in town we ask where would you like to eat and of course it's Las Palmas. Family Owned they are such a sweet family very friendly always put the customer first we are always treated with respect. The menu has everything you'd expect and more delivered sizzling, hot loads of melted cheese everything is always delicious grin the good to the Margaritas and specialty drinks. can't wait to go this weekend Cinco D Mayo.

“Just another mexican restaurant”
Reviewed 21 February 2013

The food was ok, the service wasn't bad, but the margaritas were delicious! Just another Mexican restaurant. Nothing to write home about

“Good food at incredible value”
Reviewed 24 August 2012

We ate twice at this family owned restaurant during a recent stay in Jacksonville. It is obviously not gourmet but rather a broad range of very good and very authentic Mexican dishes in huge servings at very reasonable prices. For example at $13 the large t-bone steak (OK, not very Mexican) was excellent and half the price of neighbouring restaurant.
The courtyard is nice and spacious and service very friendly.

“Good service, average food”
Reviewed 23 August 2012

If you want Mexican in Jacksonville, I think this is the only place. Las Palmas serves the usual fare - enchiladas, tacos, burritos, etc. with the obligatory beens and rice. The food is good but not outstanding. What is great is the service - friendly, quick and attentive. We ate outside and I would have to say that the ambience is better inside! The cost is reasonable and they have a good selection of Mexican beers.
