“Hell's Canyon Trip”
Reviewed 19 July 2013

Just spent 5 nights, 6 days with WWRE on the Snake River through Hell's Canyon (+ a day of guided fishing on the Wallowa). These guys are great! Friendly & professional staff, great food, good gear, etc. By whatever metric you want to measure these guys, they nailed it. I'm looking forward to going on a trip with them again in the future.

“Grand Ronde trip”
Reviewed 2 July 2013

Spent 5 nights and 6 days on the Grand Ronde river with Winding Waters. I cannot say enough about the wisdom/experience/humor/good nature of the guides and their staff. The service was impeccable and their conscientiousness about safety is appreciated. Food was fabulous. I will be back on the river next summer with Winding Waters.

Reviewed 21 June 2013

The 3 day Grand Ronde trip 6/14-16, was excellent. great weather, Great Food, non stop scenery, fun in the kayak, and great fishing. The guides and gear boat crew were, fun, friendly and cooked great food. Real glamour camping. We did the 5 day hells canyon trip in 2010, and had a fantasic time also. Love doing trips with this company. Will come back again in the future for more fun

“We want to go again!”
Reviewed 22 September 2012

We went with a group of 15 folks and floated Hell's Canyon this Fall--awesome time! Rapids are fun-scary, but you're in great hands with Winding Waters guides. Slept under the stars, and the crew had hot coffee and real cream in the morning when we first got up. They cooked great food using lots of local fresh ingredients-practically like gourmet meals, but made on the campstove and eaten in the fresh air on a beach! They have the best camping gear to make the experience really comfortable: comfortable camp chairs, great bed pads for sleeping (I mean it!!!) and tents if you wanted them, real wine glasses, nice boats and water gear. Water was warm, days were sunny, evenings were relaxing--I hated to go home. We met some really fun people. We really want to go again. Winding Waters is absolutely a great company!

“Utterly Amazing!”
Reviewed 13 September 2012

Imagine floating down a historic and beautiful river through the deepest canyon in the USA. You are surrounded by soaring mountain peaks, wildlife abounds along the shoreline, and the river changes from glassy smooth to class 3 and class 4 rapids around each corner. You hike to old homesteads and Native American pictographs. Then you stop for lunch or dinner where the staff has set up lounging chairs and tables to feed you an amazing assortment of fine foods. At night, imagine moving your sleeping cot into a grass meadow and sleeping in the open under millions of stars.

Add to this view a group of courteous, helpful and knowledgable staff that do everything possible to make every aspect of these trips memorable.

Every aspect of this trip was utterly amazing!
