Nice use of an old bank building in downtown La Grande. One waitress doing everything-it was a little too much for her. Manzilla pizza very good, as well as a build your own chicken garlic with pesto. Hubby says burger was very good and it came with a generous side salad. I would eat here again if it wasn't too busy.

We got into town late (9pm) so we were happy to find this pub right away. The food and beer were excellent, and the sidewalk table made a nice place to unwind from a long drive.

If you like beer, try the wildfire red or the la grande one. Both are good flavor. We really enjoy the pizza there. I also enjoy the fish tacos :)

My husband and I occasionally drive through La Grande on our way back from other destinations. It always seems the most convenient stop for a late lunch, but it also happens to be on Sundays when La Grande is almost completely closed down. We had spotted this location on our last two trips through and wished we could try it out, but they are currently closed on Sundays. So...we decided to make a trip to La Grande to try this place out and check out the shops along their historic Main Street. We were not disappointed. The hostess/server was very attentive throughout or visit. The selection of beer was nice and the sampler of 8 2 oz. glasses for $6 was good. I loved the pear sour they had and my husband liked the double IPA. The focacia bread as an appetizer was delicious! Our whole family enjoyed it. My husband had the fish and chips which he though were good. I had a small Manzilla pizza that was fantastic (watch out for the jalapenos-very hot!). The kids split a 16 inch pepperoni pizza that they both really enjoyed. The only drawbacks to the visit were that there is no kids menu and that the prices are a little on the high side. Our toal check with all mentioned above and three other drinks was about $55 plus tip. They have make your own sandwiches and pizza and a few other choices for entrees and several appetizer choices. Some people mentioned the limited menu, but if they are sticking to what they know I see no problem with that. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling through as a nice spot to try out!

This place is pretty good. They have some unusual pizza that is good. I have also tried the fish and chips and the prime rib sandwich. All of it was good but it seems like it's just missing that little something that makes it stand out. The beer is pretty good too.
