Very nice, attentive service at breakfast in a family style restaurant. We both had breakfast burritos and they were very good. Beautifully paneled restaurant with blue pine walls. Nothing fancy but way better than a chain restaurant.

We stopped in for a mid-week breakfast. My theory is that you can get reasonable bacon and eggs and coffee just about anywhere, but what makes or breaks the experience is the service (or lack thereof). The place was not busy at all, but the one waitress acted like our very presence was an imposition. Despite the fact that we were very low maintenance customers, she kept that attitude up all the way through. Really - this is a service industry position, and if you can't provide decent customer service, go find another line of work.

I won't go back, and I will never recommend the Dusty Spur.

We had been wanting to try this little out-of-the-way restaurant for some time. It had good reviews on TripAdvisor, so we decided to try it. We have eaten there twice in the last two weeks. Once for dinner and once for breakfast and I can truthfully say that we were very pleased with our meals and service both times.

As you can tell, if you have looked at my other reviews, we would rather eat at the little hometown style of restaurant than the big fancy ones, which are usually noisy. One of the first things we quickly noticed about the Dusty Spur was how quite it was. No loud blaring music or other noise. Just quite conversation around us from other customers. A definite plus in my book!

Portions were just right, service very friendly and prices reasonable.

A few of the basics - Open 7 days a week, but you might want to call 541-963-8171 as their hours vary for different days. They have a website where you can view the menu. They have quite a nice variety.

This is a family style restaurant and I did not see any indication that alcohol was served. Their menu lists that they have a banquet facility; to-go orders welcome, and off site catering available.

We look forward to eating there again.
