We used the Inn as a stopover. More of a 60's motel and showing a few signs of age (as we all do born in the 60's). The location is great with fabulous views of the lake. Plenty of amenities nearby for food and shopping. The occasional train runs by the lakeshore and likes to sound its horn.

The pool is more than adequate to cool down (with a depth of up to 7ft). The rooms are clean and well equipped and represent good value for money. Breakfast a bit limited but coffee and cookies also available through the day. The kitchen also allows options if required. Staff are friendly and helpful, car parking easy. A good place to stay while travelling.

Room Tip: Lake view is great.

The Inn is right on the water on the business side of the lake with many restaurants, shops, grocery, hardware stores nearby. Even a theatre! Some rooms overlook the street, so BE SURE TO ASK FOR LAKE VIEW. If you book for the 4th of July holiday, book early (a year in avance) If they are booked, put your name on the wait list...many folks cancel at the last minute.Rooms are clean but a little outdated but it really is not a place you want to hang out in the room since there is so much to do in Lake Oswego!
The staff is very helpful especially with reservations. Besides a little kitchenette in the rooms there is free coffee/tea, fruit and sweet rolls in the morning and fresh baked cookies in the afternoon in the lobby! Pets accepted.

Room Tip: ask for lake view, upper floors (Unless you like to watch the ducks at water level) ask for a room away from the pool side unless kids playing in the pool doesn't bother you.

We stayed here for 2 nights in May of 2014. We were attending a function at Lewis & Clark and the location was perfect. In additional there are restaurants, grocery stores, Starbucks, etc. all within walking distance. The Motel itself is a little weird...it does have a very tiny elevator and a very small pool, as well as an open outside stairwell. I did not like this place, it was dreary, dingy, sort of rundown, old, multiple things broken, half the lights did not work, check-in person not very friendly, very limited plugins, no a/c, there was a fan. The deck overlooking the lake was okay, but we didn't use it. We were on the third floor in a one bedroom - for what we paid totally not worth it. To the person who said it was sort of creepy - I totally understand what she meant...I would never stay here by myself - going to the room at night would be really creepy; the outside hallways were extremely dark. The window in the bedroom was up high and was very little so I felt like I was in a basement apartment - overall not good...but it did have a good location...One of my relatives had a studio room (that was actually a lot nicer then the one bedroom). That room was directly in front of the parking lot - it was not creepy - it seemed much safer, but it did not have any privacy. If I ever stayed here again, I would get a studio, no view, in the front of the building, and I would not pay more then $99.00 w/ tax, etc.

All of us at the Lakeshore are sorry to hear this guest was not happy with their accommodations. We do admit that we are not a new establishment but we can recommend newer properties in the area out by I-5. All of our rooms have AC so we are very sorry that this guest didn't notice that during their stay. We also have Studios that are Lakefront if you don’t care for the One Bedroom Suites. All of us hope to have another chance to serve this guest in the future.

Love this small hotel with lake views and a great location for walking around town. Cute movie theater restaurant right next door. Also many shops and restaurants and farmers market a block away. All the rooms also have small kitchenette and come with a continental breakfast.

Room Tip: Go for rooms on the southside to avoid noise from train tracks
