My cousin was visiting from Portland, Maine so we were on a sightseeing roadtrip down 101 along the coast. Our itinerary called for 1 night at the Bandon KOA but due to the friendliness, ambience, and secure feeling we experienced at this campground, we decided on 2 nights instead. The proximity to several places we wanted to see and peaceful setting of our clean and comfortable cabin has me already making plans to return for an even longer stay next time. The management, (Max & his cat Mick), were were great and extremely helpful in helping us map out the rest of our trip and we look forward to staying there again soon.

I have been to KOA campgrounds all over the Western US. This is the VERY BEST KOA I have experienced. The spaces are far apart with lots of trees and shrubs for privacy. The pool and (huge) hot tub are very nice. The kids loved the 25 cent game room & free basketball court as well as the nightly train rides through the park. The store was stocked with essential supplies. They served a nice pancake breakfast and a very popular ice cream social. We stayed over the busiest holiday weekend of the year, 4th of July, and we were surprised by the quiet & relaxing surroundings. The staff were very friendly and they provided a secure campground for our safety & enjoyment. We will surely stay again and highly recommend to anyone traveling the beautiful southern Oregon coast!!!
