We stopped by for a late lunch and were delighted with the food, service and atmosphere in the charming enclosed back patio. The menu is small, but the food is made fresh and worth waiting for. Very nice people. Free Wi-Fi. We will be back.

If you're in Lincoln City - or passing through - and are tired of typical American food, and even Thai/Chinese/Mexican food is just not "different" enough, then you need to head to this place. The atmosphere in the restaurant itself is casual, but it has an open doorway to the other part of the owner's business, their Internet cafe. The atmosphere THERE is quite nice and relaxing, and there are a few high tables for two (maybe three) by the window, and you can enjoy your food to the soothing sounds of their water fountain.

The food we had was like Indian food, but not necessarily as spicy; but quite yummy and at good prices, we thought. We will definitely be back when we are next in that area!

One thing the Oregon coast sadly lacks is authentic ethnic food. We stumbled upon Nepali Kitchen and it's a little treasure! The menu is very simple because the place is owned/served/cooked/waited/prepped by the owners. Your food is cooked fresh when ordered and the little wait is definitely worth it. We had the curry chicken, dal & momos. All was excellent and not too spicy. Next time we will ask to kick up the heat a little bit in the curry. The 'salsa' was really tasty.

We sat in the main dining area which is tastefully decorated & saw the delightful patio out back. It's covered, so even if it's raining, we'll eat back there next time.

I don't know how this couple does it day in and day out 7 days a week, breakfast, lunch & dinner (closes at 7:00), but I hope they continue doing it for a long time. This area is in desperate need of ethnic cuisine and you won't go wrong at the Nepali Kitchen.

Being from Vancouver, BC, we have plenty of opportunity to sample excellent northern-Indian cuisine. I wasn't expecting such a fine place in Lincoln City! Very good pakoras, excellent chicken curry (the day's special), and the egg curry was also very tasty. We arrived midway between lunch and dinner, and although it appeared that there was only one person running the place (probably the owner?), he did a great job with drinks, appetizers, and our main courses.

It was a very pleasant lunch, and while I wouldn't list this restaurant as "one of the finest dining experiences" in the town, it occupies a unique niche, and carries it off very well.

The menu at the Nepali Kitchen was rather confusing -- I took that to be a good sign of its authenticity. The service was not like that of a typical American restaurant (we were not offered beverage choices but water came with our meal). However the server/owner (?) quickly ran down the different menu items and explained what they meant - he proved to be very patient and kind.
My companions got the Momo (tasty dumplings) and chef's specialities (cabbage, lentils, cauliflower --- each surprisingly delicious). I had the Parantha which resembled a quesadilla with sour cream and (banana pepper-based?) salsa. That dish was our least favorite since it was bland compared to the other selections. For dessert we each had a warm beverage from the coffee bar. My Mexican hot chocolate was especially yummy.
We were a bit disappointed we didn't visit the serene covered back patio - it is intimate & cozy. The restaurant interiors were sparse but far from cold and featured Hindu decor.
