“Favorite B&B!”
Reviewed 2 July 2012

I chose this B&B as the first stop on our Oregon coast honeymoon, and we were not disappointed! I've stayed at B&Bs across the nation, and I will say without hesitation this was my absolute favorite! We stayed in the Captain's Quarters, and the room was exceptionally roomy and felt decadently romantic. Spacious windows overlooked the bay from our dining table downstairs, and from our room. We especially loved the very roomy jacuzzi, where we could relax and look out over the bay below. The bed was so comfortable I felt I was sleeping on a cloud, and both breakfasts were truly gourmet. I didn't get to meet Judy and Gary, as they were away, but their interim innkeeper, Coral, was warm and welcoming, and an outstanding cook. We both highly recommend this B&B!!!

Room Tip: The Cape Cod room, which we got to peek into, is light, bright and airy, whereas the Captain's Q...

We stayed in the Cape Cod room for 1 night. The B & B is extremely clean and cared for and situated right at the waters edge. Our room was light and airy with nice views of the bay, and was quite quirky having around 30 model sailing boats dotted everywhere including the cupboard - the complete opposite of a corporate cookie cutter room and was fun. The friendly owners strived to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. We enjoyed our early morning walk on the sea shore and our 'Dutch Baby' breakfast. Would stay again.

We LOVED this bed & breakfast and the hosts, Gary and Judy. The breakfasts were outstanding, the room and the home itself was amazing, and the setting was just lovely. We enjoyed the in-room hottub while drinking wine and looking out the big window at the ocean tide. It was as if we'd always been good friends with the owners--they made us feel that at home! If lucky like us, you might even get to share an evening by the outside fire right off the ocean. We'd highly recommend to anyone!

Room Tip: If you aren't familiar with the northwestern coast, bring a jacket--it can get windy.

Innkeepers Gary and Judy were exceptionally friendly. There is a low-price gourmet restaurant in walking distance; I had a good 3-course prix fixe for only $25. Breakfast was wonderful and not too big. Will definitely return when I'm next on the Oregon coast.

Room Tip: Only 2 rooms; both very good; Cape Cod room is brighter

We were spending some time in Oregon wine country and the coast. We had only a one night stay planned at Baywood Shores. After checking in and seeing the most amazing room, we immediately changed our plans and stayed two nights. The room was just amazing. A giant room, giant bed and giant sunken tub. The decor was beautiful, without being overwhelming. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The hosts were so sweet and accommodating, and their breakfasts were amazing. And to top it off, we had two beautiful bald eagles living in a tree outside the window with a telescope aimed right at them! Although we didn't love Lincoln City itself, if you are in the area, once you check in Baywood Shores, you won't want to leave.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Captain's Room. It was amazing.

I've been going to bed and breakfasts on the Oregon coast for years. This one is absolutely lovely. Judy and Gary literally built this from the ground up and you can tell it was made to be a bed and breakfast. The Captain's room is lovely and romantic, there's a tremendous video and game library if you decide to stay in, and if you go out this is in the perfect location. Never to far to stop back by and grab something or lose yourself in the tremendous views. At high tide the water if just yards from the house and at low tide you can literally walk across the sand bars right behind the house. Breakfasts and hosts are wonderful and relaxed. This is truly the most lovely stay I've had on the coast, refreshing, romantic, relaxing...perfect...I just wish it could have lasted longer!

Thanks to Judy and Gary, I had one very relaxing night at Baywood Shores B&B. One night was not nearly long enough. I hope to return sometime soon for more than one night. The bay view was very peaceful. Judy and Gary are wonderful thoughtful hosts and prepare a great Dutch Baby. The rooms are very well appointed and comfy. The jacuzzi tub allows you to soak and watch the sunset (or sunrise) over the bay. I have stayed at several of the coasts B&Bs and decided this is my new fav! I highly recommend staying at Baywood Shores. If you're there on February 9th, make sure you tell Judy Happy Birthday.
