Make sure you don't accidently drive by this awesome little inn. If you do, TURN AROUND! We did and we aren't sorry. Great value, homey, clean, extremely eccentric in an entertaining way, and the best breakfast! Lots of little surprising extras.

This is a one-of-a-kind place that I guess you either love or dismiss as over the top.
Sailor memorabilia fill the cottage-style room and dining room from floor to ceiling, making them very special. There are figurines, paintings, nets, well, just about anything that fits into the marine theme, and it's everywhere.
The staff was great. We appreciated the possibility to borrow a DVD from a good range of movies, to watch in the evening (accompanied with free popcorn).
Delicious breakfast and it all comes at a very, very reasonable price. Definitely worth checking out this place if you're in Lincoln City.

I stayed here on my way down the coast, for $69 it was a great value. The rooms actually have a living room, small kitchen area, electric fireplace, quilts. The common area room is extremely comfortable to hang out in. Very electic decorations which only add to the charm. Great DVD selection to check out, free popcorn and an amazing cook to order breakfast, one of the best I have ever had. Service was friendly. Very clean. Would highly recommend.

We were looking for budget after many hours driving on Hwy 101: couple + a 7, 11 & 16 year old. Top priorities for me? Safety and cleanliness. What we discovered was that, and a very welcoming staff, offering these tired travelers popcorn, and an invitation to send the kids back in to pick out movies to take back to the room at no charge! Breakfast - cooked, hot and yummy - with a choice of two items (this changes, ours was a plate-size delectable German-style pancake or chicken breakfast enchilada) - provided in the visually interesting (with new surprises each time I perused the room!) dining room. This 40's era inn has been/is being refurbished to maintain the charm of that time, while updating where necessary. With an eye on green-friendly considerations, we were 100% pleased with our find. Best find? Coffee beans and grinder in our room! Bonus: great place for picture opps!
