Room for disabled on ground level, 2 queen beds, ocean view all western wall (not a deck or sliding door, just window), nice bathroom, recliner, table and 3 chairs (light over table is suitable for reading), microwave, fridge, coffee in room, cabinets, comfy beds, sufficient pillows, lovely purple colors, pop machine, many stairs to beach (friends did it, I am disabled so could not), continental breakfast (small bagels and rolls), pool (across street) and jacuzzi spa (across street) parking lot, some disabled parking, overflow lot across street, some street parking. Stall shower with wand, walk in. Toiletries. Office people very nice, closes at 11pm. Wi-Fi. Lots of materials in office. Water pressure is fine. Low water flush toilet. I'm told (don't partake) coffee is a tad weak. Covered walkway to room. No elevator, stairs only. Brkfst 7-9am. EZ checkin- and out.

Room Tip: I can't climb stairs (no knee) so the disabled room was perfect, even flat entry, and walk from...

Stayed on the 4th floor, King Room, Balcony, Oceanfront. It is perfect for us. We were there during Spring Break and the kids were pretty good. It wasn't noisy. I love the staff. They are predominately Mexicans and they are very accommodating. They also have a pool technician that checks the water in the pool and spa. It was a balcony that you have wonderful privacy from the beach bums. They will also provide you with muffins, coffee, juice, English muffins, fruit and cereral. You can get this on the first floor, breakfast area.

I found my trip to Lincoln City to be more on the spendy side than what I have experience in the past. Maybe it's because Portland is so close by that they raise the rates.

Room Tip: 4th floor with balconies are definitely for adults. 1st level is ideal for famlies with dogs and cl...

The motel is on a bluff about seventy feet above the ocean and is so close the waves come within twenty feet of the bottom of the bluff at high tide. Spectacular ocean views, clean, well maintained older rooms and a nice pool and hot tub if you don't feel like walking down to the ocean. The beach is about six miles long and great for walking on, no motorized vehicles allowed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, as was the townsfolk we met.

Room Tip: 2nd floor rooms are quieter and have better view.

When the vacation rental "House Near the Lake" sprung severe plumbing problems the day of our scheduled arrival, we were forced to scramble around town and find dog friendly accommodations for the week. A friend had mentioned the Sea Horse a few days before our trip, so I took a chance and drove over. The two ladies at the front desk were very nice, especially Cricket. I explained our situation and Cricket hooked us up with a small cabin, even adjusting the price so it included the $5 per day dog fee. She even helped me put all of our cold and frozen food in the fridge before we could check in, as the cabin still needed to be cleaned. We stayed for two nights.

The cabin was quite dark, due to the wood paneling in every room. The small kitchen was adequate and I am glad I brought my own cooking utensils as the things available were sparse.
The carpets were "iffy" so we kept our feet covered. The TV in the cabin was rather small, not a flat screen so we were unable to hook our computer up to it to watch Netflix. The bed was very comfortable, although my partner was disturbed by something sticky, like a booger (sorry, gross, I know) with a couple of hairs poking out, stuck to the sheet.

They are dog friendly and gave Diablo a fancy dipped milk bone, which he enjoyed. Would I return to this place? Not sure. In a pinch, yes. It was a decent enough place to end up, but not a destination spot for us.

We stayed 2 nights. The beds were great, the view was fantastic.. your above the ocean about a 100'. I did find a crack pipe left in drawers below the TV which I turned into the front desk. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will go back.

We purchased a Groupon for a two night stay and went for our anniversary. The motel is a bit outdated in structure but they have updated it with furnishings and it was nice and clean. The Groupon included a voucher for breakfast at a local restaurant. The motel offers a nice continental breakfast. We were bummed you couldn't take it back to your room, but understand the reasoning behind their philosophy. The pool and hot tub were nice. The service was very friendly. We were pleased to have a microwave and small frig in the room to use.

We purchased the Groupon and had a two night stay here on a Thursday & Friday. Check in went smoothly, which does not always happen with a Groupon. I found that the rate at check in was at a low winter rate, so the Groupon really didn't save us much. The place was a little run down, as an older hotel will be, but clear efforts have been made to keep it clean and well maintained. Our spacious room was in the south oceanfront building. I was surprised and loved that the windows opened up wide, so you could sit in the room and feel like you were outside, with the roaring surf and the sunshine. Room had nice mini-fridge and microwave. Public access stairway takes you directly to the miles of open beach, great for walking. We had a beautiful sunset while in the hot tub and tried out the pool the next morning -- very nice. The breakfast was the ordinary yogurt/fruit/cereal thing, but they gave us a $20 certificate to Wildflower Grill, which was excellent. The hotel is within easy walking distance to several restaurants and shops. My one complaint is that walls are pretty thin so when our neighbors came back about 11:30 at night, we had to wait for their party-mode to calm down until we could get to sleep. Since I strongly prefer non-chain hotels, we would definitely stay here again, especially on a week night when things are quieter.

Room Tip: Upper level rooms have better views.
