Wonderful hotel. Loved the beach view, incredible sunset, outdoor fire pits, Helpful front desk staff, and the clean, comfortable and spacious room. There was a great Thai restaraunt within walkin distance. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay here again.

We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your entire stay with us you had the opportunity to experience some of the wonderful restaurants in town. The fire pits add such a nice touch to the end of a long day of adventures. We look forward to your next visit!

Okay I REALLY tried to like this hotel but was so disappointed! It has a beautiful view and the staff is very nice. They are very service oriented and welcoming but the hotel itself is in need of repair. Two issues that I told the front desk about: 1. The bathroom sink lights had 2 out of 3 that were burnt out....they offered to come up but it was late and we were turning in. The 2nd issue is the towels were hard, frayed and stained. I mentioned this at check out and was told they were in the process of replacing them and my room must have been missed.
I walked in and noticed a dank smell...probably due to not having any AC to get the humidity out. The duvet was very wrinkled, the lamp shade as tilted and there was scotch tape on the valance. The snack sign was sticky with fingerprints. The pillows on the bed & couch were flat and it was a very drab green/ brown color scheme. I was still willing to overlook all this for the great view. I think the bad towels sent me over the edge!
Also, for a boutique hotel, there was nothing fancy about anything in the room. All the linens looked very cheap and worn. A plain gray plastic trashcan. Where is the boutique?????
A few good points....the view, the service, and the outdoor fire pits. Also they have wine & beer available for purchase at a reasonable price.

Room Tip: stay someone else!

I would like to personally apologize for the condition of your room when you checked into our hotel. We take great pride in our cleanliness and making sure our rooms are well appointed prior to our guests checking in, and its apparent that we dropped the ball with your room. We have now replaced all of the towels in our hotel with brand new bamboo blended towels and any towels not meeting our high standards were donated. We have also replaced all of the pillows in our hotel with much higher grade replacements. I can't express to you how embarrassed I am that your room was left in this condition for you to check-in to. I assure you that I have spoken with the staff involved and taken appropriate action. We try to add many special touches to the room to give it the 'boutique' feel and when the room is not prepared properly, those attentions to detail no longer have the appeal as intended. I do hope that next time you visit our area, you give us another opportunity so we can show you what was missed the first time around.

This resort, while not new, is clean and confortable. Our room was very clean, with a view of the ocean, for a very reasonable price. The room smelled a lot like cleaning products every day after being cleaned, but we would rather that than the alternative! We opened the windows and the sea breeze soon got rid of the smell.

The staff was extremely friendly, especially Quinn, who made our stay great. He was one of the most helpful staff we have ever encountered on any of our travels. We mentioned it was our honeymoon and we received a discount on the room and a free bottle of wine, which was so wonderful. We didn't have reservations and Quinn was so good with helping us just drop in from the street.

We would definitely stay here again. They have a nice complimentary breakfast, delicious cookies and water infused with lime and mint from their own herb garden! What a nice resort.

Wonderful to hear that Quinn took such great care of you during your honeymoon! The “Cojito Water" is a big hit here…nice and refreshing! It's a delicious fusion of organic lime slices and mint, grown right here in the Coho herb garden. We do hope to see you again.

Absolutely love this hotel! We have stayed in Lincoln City several times but decided to try a new place...what luck! We were greeted by the friendliest hotel staff ever, total customer service.

Rooms are compact but very nicely appointed with flat screen TV's, really plush linens, a microwave and coffeemaker (and they'll give you gourmet ground coffee at check in). They've also got a huge DVD library of free rentals. We had a king bedroom with absolutely stunning ocean views. In fact, we slept with the windows open each night and fell asleep listening to the ocean.

Our favorite part is the little sandbox area in front of the covered parking - fire pits and adirondack chairs - just bring a beverage and sit and watch the sunset. Awesome!

Breakfast is included and theirs includes fruits, waffles, eggs, cereal and juices. It can get a little crowded but we met some great folks there. Pool and hot tub are nice as well. They even have massage service. They've really thought of everything!

We'll definitely be back, love the Coho!

Room Tip: All rooms have an ocean view - you can't miss. But there are some with balconies, ask when book...

So glad to hear you found us! The fire pits are so warm and inviting and makes you feel like you are right on the beach. What better way to end the day than to sit by them and have a nice beverage… nothing short of full relaxation!

Great location. Terrific room with fabulous ocean views. Little kitchen area with frig, microwave and a French press for a great cup of coffee.

My wife loved sitting in the bath tub, drinking wine, watching the ocean and the gorgeous sunset.

Enjoyed the wine and cheese tasting and sitting on the patio warmed by the fire pits.

All in all, very nice. We would go back anytime we were in the area.

Sounds like you were able to utilize a lot of our amenities during your stay, how wonderful! There is nothing better than sipping on some wine while watching the sunset. One of our favorite parts about living on the Oregon Coast!

We wanted to get away for a short beach weekend, after much searching of hotels in Lincoln City (where I have been staying on vacations for years) I found the Coho. I stayed their about 5 years ago and checked out their site. I discovered they had a large remodel and the entire place looked amazing. Upon further reading I discovered that the new Coho practiced sustainable living. We booked the suite in the adults only section (fabulous idea btw) When I called to make the reservation Christina one of the front desk associates was incredibly nice and helpful. We even splurged for the late check out/celebration package where a bottle of wine, a rose, cake and balloons welcomed us as we entered our wonderful room. When we arrived at the Coho, our room was ready early and i was amazed by the cleanliness and modern look of the front desk. It was beautiful! We went up to our room on the top floor and was totally surprised even more by how new and clean everything was in the room. We have not a single complaint about our stay in the suite. The bed was super comfty, the couch perfect, the carpet impeccably clean. Everything in the room was beyond perfect. The jacuzzi was great as was the beautifully done bathroom. In the evening we went down to the lobby to rent a dvd and we met Liza, another front desk associate who was also wonderful. I have to say that the front desk associates were the most friendliest and kindest i have ever encountered anywhere. This hotel was nothing but amazing and worth every penny (which really isnt that many) We will be back for sure!

Room Tip: Top floor ocean front in the adult only section is a prime location!

I had a fantastic stay here in September. The weather was perfect for my companion's first trip to the Coast, which was to say blustery and cool with fog blowing in off the coast, and the loud sounds of the surf crashing against the cliffs.

The room was on the ground floor of the old part of the hotel (from its early days as a beach motel), which meant we had a patio that led right onto the cliffs. That was amazing. We left the sliding-glass door open and the gas fireplace on for most of the evenings during our stay. There was a modern fridge as well as the original '60s appliances, which was cool but I wouldn't have wanted to cook on an old coil stovetop that was that old. The bed was comfy and the linens nice and soft and modern.

Our room was actually a two-bedroom suite, which surprised me. I booked through AAA and it said King/Queen and I took that to mean that it was at their discretion. So it was kind of a lot of space. It would be great if you had kids with you.

We really had a delightful stay, and it was a fantastic value. There were only a few complaints I had:

The bathroom was really, really small, like closet-sized, and it was difficult to squeeze into the room enough to close the door behind you.

Because we were on the ground floor, we heard all the goings-on above us. Including the cleaning staff when they were upstairs, and then a couple in that room having, ahem, very vigorous relations. At 3 a.m. So that's the price you pay to be on the ground floor and have a patio rather than a balcony.

Breakfast was just OK... hard-boiled eggs, lots of pastries, make-your-own waffles, and biscuits and gravy. I would've liked a little more choice, or at least some plain instant oatmeal.

They gave us fresh-ground coffee but the room only had a French press pot. Without either a coffee scoop or a hot water measure, I couldn't get the proportions right and the coffee was always super-weak or extra-bitter.

Your companion got to experience true Oregon weather! As we do love the retro look of the appliances, we will be replacing those soon as well. Something that you can look forward to for your next visit!
I would like to apologize for the noise during your stay, it can put a damper on the whole experience. We are always more than happy to reserve a room on the top floor for you during your next stay, which will also give you a large balcony as well!
