After reading other reviews, we decided to have lunch at Bread and Ocean. We arrived about 1:00 and found room at tables outside on the patio. My group loved the coffee, the split pea soup and the sandwiches. Someone recommended the quiche and my sister felt it was just ok. The place has a funky look and feel which was perfect. The food was delicious and we had no problem with waiting as our food was prepared fairly quickly, unlike what we read in other reviews. We treated ourselves to cookies after our meals and loved them - the chocolate chip was just average but the macaroon was wonderful. Bring cash as they don't take credit cards. The line for ordering got fairly long at closing time, around 2:00.
