“Fairly typical Mexican fare”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2014 via mobile

Huge menu, reasonably priced. My chicken fajita arrived sizzling, but in what seemed like Bisto gravy. Good sized chicken pieces, mushrooms and onions. It was nothing special for sure. My wife's chimichanga, ordered as a side not a complete meal, was well done.
Service was OK, not enthusiastic or friendly. Bus person who filled water couldn't speak English, or chose not to.
Their Cannon Beach location is for sale.

“Choose well though...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 June 2014 via mobile

The menu is huge, and perhaps that's part of the problem - they're trying to do too much - but the tortilla soup is an excellent choice It is hearty and tasty and a good-sized serving. I'd suggest staying away from items that have refried beans and melted cheese as these are very bland unappetizing. The service is prompt and personable. Horacio helped us wade through the menu for vegetarian options, which was kind of him.

“Some dishes better than others...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 May 2014

My spouse is mexican and he loved the tortilla soup. I got the taco combination plate. Mine was average, nothing special, but his soup was awesome. It came with plenty of fried tortilla strips, avocado and sour cream. We ended up putting my leftovers (rice, beans) in his soup, it was so good. We both ordered this again on our last night. Note - prices were higher than printed to-go menu and they did charge $1.00 for take out. We also tried the Mini Tamale meal for kids, it's a good amount of food still.

This is the real thing. They also do the fake Mexico for those who want it. Great service. Watch out when the say they say spicey.

“Good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 March 2014 via mobile

My picky eater was so happy to find this place on our vacation. Beans and a plain cheese quesadilla is her food of choice and coming from Portland before this and not finding a single Mexican restaurant, we were happy.

This place is exceedingly average, but it delivered on everything we wanted. My shrimp fajitas were good, but had a little sweetness to them that was very rich and I wasn't the biggest fan of it, but others may be!

The tables are lined in three rows in a square room and nothing special about the décor, but if you are craving Mexican, this is the (one and only) Mexican place!
