We were going to bike for a day in the Willamette Valley and needed a reasonably priced place to stay for a couple nights. Our room was spacious, clean, and the price was very reasonable considering what we had found on our trip from Sacramento to Seattle.

A great value in a quiet setting with easy access to great wine tasting venues. A nice complimentary breakfast allows you to quickly set out for you day of exploring the center of the Oregon wine tasting region. Great location to visit the Evergreen Aviation Museum, home of the Spruce Goose. We will stay here again, the staff is friendly and for diehard junk food lovers there is a McDonalds next door.

Room Tip: Rooms on the back side of the motel are quieter than the highway side.

Stayed here one night and will not be stay here ever again. They don't tell you about this but there is a $30.00 refunded security deposit charged when you check in. Their website states nothing about the deposit. In fact the only place there is anything about it is on a tiny piece of paper at the front desk. They don't even tell you when you check in. We checked in with another party that had purchased their stay through Priceline they were not charged this deposit. When we checked out it was not even there on the bill. We asked the front desk when the deposit would be refunded and they said it would take one to two business days. It took two for us. The rooms were quite large. But that was the only thing that was good about this hotel. The lack of information about the refundable security deposit was the reason that we will not be staying her ever again.

This place was ok. The guy at check in was kinda boring and lacked personality, they have an air freshener plugged in the hallways so that's kinda scary but it's still an ok place to stay.
This place seems to change management quite often so you never know what you will find. There is a pool even though Priceline doesn't say that there is one there is one.

I stayed here in early September 2013. We chose this hotel because their was limited availability in the area due to the half marathon we were running in. It served its purpose as a place to lay our head. The room was reasonably clean, although slightly dated by my standards i.e. no flat screen, dated décor, worn linens. The complimentary breakfast was standard, fruit, pastries, waffles, and meats and boiled eggs. The service however was very good and the people at the front desk were very helpful, but I think just about everyone we encountered in this part of Oregon were exceptionally friendly and polite. The hotel is located a short drive outside the historic section of the city, which has wonderful places to dine, and not far from the many wineries in the area. Overall, I would rate it as just OK, and if I were to return to the area I would book a room at one of the beautiful B&B's.

My wife and I need a place to stay near Dundee for just one night. A problem we encountered is that most of the hotels in this wine country want a 2 night minimum on weekends. The Red Lion in McMinnville had no such rule, so we ended up booking for just one night. The Red Lion was very clean and well kept. The staff was courteous and the room price was very reasonable. It is situated just down route 18 from The Evergreen Air Museum and also a very short drive to downtown McMinnville. I will not hesitate to stay here in future visits to the Willamette/Yamhill valleys.

The hotel staff was nice, the property is fairly easy to find, close to downtown McMinnville but it smelled a little musty. There were lots of construction workers staying there which made breakfast a little weird with the rough conversation but the price was right. The hotel is in a mixed use area with commercial operations around as well as industrial.
