“Natural wonder & beauty!”
Reviewed 29 December 2013 via mobile

It's well worth the drive. The walk is surprisingly easy and shorter than you'd think. Wandering off the beaten path proves to be pleasant adventure, as well.

“Disappearing Rogue!”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

The Rogue River disappears into Lava Tubes for a great length at Natural Bridge, except when the River is swollen from heavy snow melt and/or rain. This is a very short, easy, paved hike with interesting nature views all around. Great to visit alongside the Rogue Gorge Viewpoint a couple miles up the road in Union Creek.

“It used to be even better ...”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

When you stare down at the rocks, through which the entire Rogue River flows, imagine walking on those rocks, barefoot, with the water gurgling up through vents between your toes, and an other-worldly vibration you can feel through the volcanic rock itself, as the River rushes through a lava tube underfoot!

It's just a little way upstream where the legend tells of a horse and rider who fell into the pool where the river disappears, and neither was ever seen again. No surprise that they put up the chain-link fencing!
