“Value for the Money”

This was home base for three days as we did the Columbia Gorge and Mt Hood. Could have stayed in Gresham and Troutdale but decided here. Value was great. Room 226 was extra quiet. Room clean and M approved. Hot tub was much appreciated however you needed to walk outside to get to it. Wished they had a waffle maker. No one in the pool or hot tub any night. Solo swim

Room Tip: Rm 226 was quiet and dark

This motel is fairly new. Some nearby properties were old when I lived in this neighborhood as a child fifty years ago. The manager graciously upgraded me to a ground floor suite so I wouldn't have to carry heavy gear up the stairs. I have business in Clackamas County and plan to return to this motel annually.

Room Tip: There are rooms tucked away down a hall where the two wings of the motel meet. They don't face...

For a family on a budget trip to Portland Oregon, this was a good choice. We felt safe in the neighborhood and liked that the staff was warm and friendly(family run). Having a fridge and microwave helped us save on our food budget and the location to Portland Downtown and Clackamas was excellent. Milwaukie is a city that is in the center of all Portland has to offer, a few minutes driving to the Oregon Zoo, OMSI, Oaks Park in Sellwood/Moreland, Clackamas Town Center Mall, Lake Oswego and Historic Oregon City. The hotel also offers a Heated Pool and Hot Tub, which our kids loved.

All in all, I'd stay her again. Clean & Comfortable

Green Features: We liked that the hotel offers a recycling program and uses green cleaning products.

Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable, the service at the front desk wasn't the best when we first arrived as he tried to upgrade us to a jacuzzi suite and then charge us and I said no thank you and then told us we were already booked into the jacuzzi suite but if we used it would cost us $10 I just found the whole encounter to be a bit weird. The breakfast was very basic breakfast, but it was ok. We slept well it was fairly quiet, beds were comfortable. It isn't that close to downtown or any tourist attractions but we did find a few restaurants and were just staying the one night. We did find a great Mexican restaurant close by that we enjoyed. I'm not sure if we would stay here again only because of the location, it was good though for just coming through town.

I found motel on Travolocity last minute 9pm when realized we weren't going to finish construction job that night. Reasonable price paid $6 extra for suite which had small fridge and microwave. separate dinning room with another TV. Rooms ok, 2 pillows per bed. Small parking lot but wasn't full on a Sunday night. Quite in room. Decent sized bathroom. Did have a hot tub and pool that was clean. Continental breakfast was, small muffin, bagels, coffee, juice. Mainly the Hot tub and fridge made it nice.

Room Tip: Go for a suite more room not much more. Take advantage of hot tub at night or morning. Indoor outd...

Best friend and I rented a king suite. Had a separate area with a couch microwave and fridge. Wifi worked good. Parking is limited on nights they sell out so we had to park in street one of the 4 nights. Never used the continental breakfast or pool. Very clean and quiet. The man at the desk was dry but he didn't understand English that well. Book online to avoid being overcharged.
