A restaurant ran by a wonderful bunch, with seriously great homemade food. I'm not joking. You get what you pay for and more. Do not pass this place up. They seem to work everyday to stay consistent and get even better.

We were so looking forward to having a good mom & pop diner in our little town but am not so sure it's going to happen. The food at Ed and Mo's started out surprisingly good but over time has begun to taste more and more like frozen, pre-fab food. At one visit we walked in to find we were one of two parties there, two wait staff talking together and 4 tables that had not been cleaned from previous diners. The inside is dark and dreary, can't really tell what the theme is other than tired oldies music with sparse decorations of old 45 records etc. For a new restaraunt it already needs updating such as better lighting, get rid of the over-used oldies theme. We've been several times and watched it decline each time.
On a positive note their home made potato chips are wonderful! Order those instead of fries.
We REALLY want to see them succeed. Clean, bright interior, fresh, good quality food (doesn't need to be gourmet to be good) and reliable store hours would go a long way. Good luck Ed and Mo! We haven't totally given up on you yet!

I want to take the time to respond to the people who cared enough to write reviews on our social media pages. Something that many customers have heard me say a time or two is that "any comments, complaints, or suggestions can only make us better." But with comments that are being made we find they are still a little vague. We want to continue to improve every day but without details, ie. the bacon was burnt, bread was soggy, or the music was too loud, the only way we will know how to fix the issue is if it's specified.

We don't plan on giving up! Help us to become The place for you all! Which includes, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and adult beverages, and yes a 75% fresh and home made menu! Thank you for all of your comments, good wishes, and allowing us to get to know you. Hope to see you soon, from all of us at Ed&Mo's!

It can be such a struggle to find decent food on the road and not have to resort to the same fast food joints along the highway. Thankfully, we found Ed & Mo's Diner in tiny little Myrtle Creek, OR. It is just off the I-5, so you don't have to waste a lot of time while on a road trip.

The food is very decent...not a surprising menu, but all the menu items sounded appealing. The day's special was a melted ham and cheese sandwich and it was just as delicious as it sounded when the server announced it. Our friend had a cheeseburger with coleslaw and was very pleased with it, too.

Friendly staff, good service, very clean! I am a tough roadside restaurant rater and really look for a clean restroom and dining room, and this one had both. I'm happy to recommend this diner, give it a shot!

Oh...and don't forget to take a look at the covered bridge that it practically across the street. AWESOME! :-)

Ambiance was not so good. Felt like a pool hall without the pool tables. Kind of a funny smell... but the food was surprisingly good. Service very good, too.
