This area does not have many offerings for lodging, consequently the prices are higher than the quality of the establishments. It is clean enough, and the beds are comfortable, but you hear doors slamming constantly and people in the halls. It is a non-smoking hotel but you can smell smoke in the hallways, the breakfast is marginal with limited selections.
We usually come here in a motorhome, but on occasion fly in for family activities and in a pinch we would stay here again.
Our group recently traveled from the east coast to attend the Memorial Weekend wine tastings in the Willamette Valley. Our decision to stay at the Travelodge Suites was driven primarily by the inexpensive room rates. After all, if you're going to spend your days travelling around to as many vineyards as you can and then find a great restaurant for dinner, the only thing you need is a reasonable night's sleep to get ready for the next day. This hotel, owned and operated by the very friendly Mr. Bhat was perfect for our needs. The room was clean, fresh and the nights were quiet. The continental breakfast was more than adequate to get us going on our day's journey. There is nothing fancy about its location -- in fact it sits off the road behind Finnegan's Bar and Grill at which we enjoyed some great live music on night. Use your money for more important memories than where you slept at night. Try this friendly and economical alternative. We all thought it was superb.
