Had a great time, the place was clean, the rooms were nice, and the view incredible. The only weird part was the host. She seemed kind of intent on either making you look a little stupid or making her look a little better. As others have already said. We thought it was funny though, Classic Portland hipster..nothing new for us. We just had her make us breakfast and ignored her the rest of the day. Wonderful trip.

We enjoyed our stay at Chehalem Ridge B&B. It was an easy ride from downtown Portland, after dinner, and a very good place to begin our Willamette Valley exploration the next morning. The Inn is clean, pleasant, and comfortable. We had a nice breakfast and a chat with lovely Kristin. You will be well taken care of there.

We spent two nights in the Wine Country room. Beautiful views out over the Willamette Valley around Newberg, OR. The room was tastefully decorated and relaxing. Saturday night was a full house and we never heard any of the other guests. Didn't realize how many people were there until breakfast. Kristen had plenty of helpful suggestions about tasting rooms and restaurants, but after a couple of long days wine tasting, we chose to just stay in the room and relax at night.

Room Tip: We chose the Wine Country room for the balcony, and the jetted tub.

I stayed in the Rose Garden room, which is on the top floor overlooking Newberg. It has a huge bathroom with a clawfoot tub and separate shower.

The room was ridiculously clean. I normally will clorox everything in a room at a hotel, but at this place I didn't clorox a thing and I felt fine walking around the room without shoes on.

There were a few spiders, but I got rid of those. The sheets on the bed were so soft. Towels were soft too. Earplugs were provided, but most of the guests turned in when we turned in too, so no one woke us. Kids under 12 aren't allowed here, which kept it quiet.

Breakfast is well worth the price of staying at this B&B. Kristin was the cook and server and did both efficiently. It was fun eating with other guests. Coffee was so good too and it was so nice to wake up to the smell. The food was amazing!

There is one tv in the lower level with seating for two people. The volume would cut in and out. There are also tons of books and boardgames. Wifi was easy to connect to.

They have a cat there too! Super nice cat, but very shy. It hangs on the porch.

Room Tip: The Oregon Coast Room is on the main level. The Oregon Trail, Rose Garden Room and Wine Country Room are upstairs. The High Desert Suite is in the Lower Level (more private)

Stunning views of the valley. We stayed in the High Desert room which was the entire back of the lower level and couldn't have hoped for a more beautiful view. We were there in January, so we were the only ones there. Kristin was great...very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious both mornings. Highly recommended. I read all the comments here prior to our stay, and can really only support the positive ones. Great stay.
