After enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving buffet here last fall (see my other review) , we decided to eat just a regular dinner here one Saturday evening. It was late February and they weren't busy at all . . . in fact we rather wondered how they're "keeping the doors open".
The menu is a bit limited and we thought the prices on the high side. I ordered the Artichoke Chicken which was pretty good but for just one medium sized breast I felt it was a bit overpriced at $19.00.
My husband, after quizzing our server, opted for the Prime Rib - touted as "just wonderful, outstanding". Well, he said it was fine. Period. I tasted it and thought it was okay, although admittedly Prime Rib is not my favourite dinner. The point is that the dinner was not quite like, er, "advertised" by our server!
Our service was good enough, salads were average. We had two soft drinks which came in average size glasses and I guess without free refills - at least we weren't offered any.
The view is very nice, looking out over the boats to the bridge.
Will we return? Probably not, except perhaps for next Thanksgiving!
