“Lots of toppings!”
Reviewed 18 February 2014

Very good pizza that probably has generous amount of toppings on the pizza...more than anywhere I've been in a long time. What kept this from getting an excellent rating is that is with so much toppings.....the middle of the pizza didn't get quite done enough and was actually cool as opposed to the outside of the pizza being hot. The flavor is very good. Staff is helpful and very friendly. Nice greetings and good-bye's. This is what pizza and staff used to be years ago. Worth the stop.

“Easily the Best Pizza in Newport”
Reviewed 25 January 2014

Tucked away in a small strip mall across the street from Fred Meyer shopping center, Cobblestone is a Toledo company that expanded to Newport a while ago. Killer pizza by the slice, whole pies, and customizable calzones that are large and usually chock full. Nice crust crisp with slight chew and hint of garlic. We always get a side of pesto to add just before eating. Yum! Very reasonable cost, too.

“Great pizza! Great salad!”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

We ordered 2 pizzas in December, to be delivered. Unfortunately, it was snowing and icy, so there was no delivery available. My husband and daughter picked up 2 pizzas and a side salad for dinner. The pizzas were loaded with toppings, the crust was very good. The salad was chocked full of veggies, which we love. The salad was so big that we finished it off the following day.

“Dry Pizza”
Reviewed 20 September 2013

We ordered from here because it was almost 7:00 p.m. and they delivered. After 6 hours spent hiking and playing on the beach we just didn't feel like driving anywhere to go get food.

There was very little sauce on our pizza and the hamburger we chose for a topping was very, very dry. They topped it with parmesan which gave the already dry hamburger a gritty texture.
The hamburger didn't appear to have been seasoned while cooking so it was very bland.

What sauce we could manage to taste, the cheese and the crust tasted good though.
The pizza was loaded with hamburger, it was delivered right on time and piping hot.

“Great pizza!”
Reviewed 20 July 2013

We went here when we were in Newport overnight because they were the only decent restaurant open at that time of night, according to a local. But, the pizza was well worth having. We went pretty simple with pepperoni and mushrooms. Pizza came quickly and was nice and hot. The toppings were generous, not too much sauce but not too little and the crust was really tasty. The "regular" crust was still quite thick, so opt for thin crust if you prefer less. We liked the bready-ness of the crust. Got a lot of pizza for the money! Especially after eating on the bayfront earlier in the day (a bit of a rip-off!). We would definitely eat here again. Too bad they aren't in Eugene!
