My wife and I recently spent 2 nights at the Ocean House and really enjoyed it. Craig and his wife were great hosts and we loved the facility and our breakfasts both mornings. We stayed in the Far East room which had just a peak of the ocean but it was comfortable, quiet and great for us. The bed, sheets and pillows were great and the room was very comfortable with a little sitting area by the windows that viewed the ocean. Great porch, gardens and sitting areas outside. There is a short path down to the ocean (the B & B sits perched on a cliff over the ocean) that led to a really great and quiet beach that you can walk on for many miles. We hadn't spent much time in Newport but Craig gave us some great recommendations for restaurants that served fresh seafood (Local Ocean restaurant is awesome). We walked out to the lighthouse (15-20 minute walk) and that was very enjoyable.More
