My adult daughter and I stayed at Ocean House for the long 4th of July weekend. This was our first stay at a Bed and Breakfast. We were both blown away with the hospitality of Dawn and Craig (Owners). The breakfasts are delicious (5 star). The pictures don't do justice to how beautiful Ocean House really is. You HAVE to see it for yourself. We will be back and recommend you stay next time you're in the Newport area.

Room Tip: All rooms would be great!! I was in windswept.

Seriously, I've had rooms and suites at Four Seasons, Ritz Carltons, and plenty of B&B's and smaller inns, along with the usual panoply of Hyatts, Hiltons and Best Westerns. Craig and Dawn run a fabulous property on the Oregon Coast that I can't wait to return to. The setting on the Oceanside cliffs is stunning, but so are the common areas. Our room, the Sea Rose, had the glassed-in sunroom, and I could barely leave to go exploring or eat. The breakfasts were delightful, the hosts friendly and knowledgable about local sites and restaurants, and the beds were uncommonly comfortable.
If you have the chance - go!

Room Tip: Sea Rose has a great sunroom.

Welcoming, friendly hosts, and excellent breakfasts. The rooms are private & quiet, clean & modern, and the bed & breakfast provides great views of the ocean. In room gas fireplaces are cozy, a warming touch, and the living room welcomes guests to linger and visit. The outdoor patio is a good spot for photo taking and ocean watching. Great cookies, too!

We stayed in the Windswept room - comfortable, clean, and beautiful view from our bedroom window. We kept the windows open at night and could hear the ocean, fantastic. The wine and fresh baked cookies were always a treat after an adventurous day out. The breakfast was outstanding, presented with class and very tasty! The last morning my husband was trying to figure out a way to stay "just one more day"! We stayed Thursday-Sunday in March. Next time we will make a point of visiting during whale migration, however, we did see a mama whale and her baby while on a whale watching adventure! The awe of God's work is incredible!

Stayed one night in the Pacific Breezes room and could not have found a better location for me and my girlfriend. Both of us were blown away by the ocean views and the pristine and nearly deserted beach a mere 100 ft from our doorstep. Also thought Dawn and Craig were great hosts who gave us great suggestions for where to eat in Newport and for what to see/do when driving up the coast to Seaside, OR.

Definitely looking forward to returning.
