Make sure you agree to join the players club when registering to get 10% off your hotel bill and the rewards (if you gamble) are redeemable for useful items.
Now to the Hotel. Everything was perfect, the friendly staff, the luxurious room, the food in the restaurants. Although I didn't pay the extra for a River view, so I overlooked the car park, there was no disturbance whatsoever and both the restaurant and lounge area overlooked the river anyway.
Even if you don't gamble, I'd recommend this hotel if it's within your budget and you want somewhere great to stay.
This is one of the 3 places on this trip that I will definitely return to.

This hotel was the surprise of the road trip. The rooms are small but nicely appointed with a woodsy theme. The staff is excellent. The value for the money is great. The restaurant is decent and the casino was fun. Nice beds, nice internet room, nice view of the bay. We really enjoyed out time here. If you are in the Coos Bay area, make this hotel your choice.

Asked for lowest rate at check-in; clerk said there was a manager's special at $89 for parking lot view, $99 for water view and $109 for tower room. Looked at the $99 room and decided to stay: spacious room, comfy bed, nice furnishings.
The staff obviously pays attention to detail, as the room had nearly perfect fit-and-finish, and this is rare to find.
Free, in-room wireless is a plus; no refrigerator is a minus (had the Dugeness crab and prime rib special for $20...huge serving and no refrigerator in which to store the leftovers, so put it on ice in the ice bucket and ate the leftovers in the morning, and they were tasty, even cold!)

I had really wanted to love this hotel, but that was not to be. The room was OK. It appeared to be new and was very clean. It wasn't too small and the shower was a walk-in. The view looked out over the parking lot and work buildings. But, if you could block that out or sit down your view was partially of the bay. The gift shop is very nice with a selection of items made by tribal members.
Like I said I wanted to love this place because, I had hoped to bring the family next Christmas since they have an in-door pool and small arcade. But, it was things like poor customer service, misinformation, loud heavy doors slamming all night, overly warm rooms, hard to use lamps, light bulbs out or flickering, vacuuming and moving furniture in the lobby on a Friday night and dogs growling in the hall while trying to access the pool that were among the small things that added up and took away from the experience. There is no place for kids to eat early morning without going to the casino floor and bringing food back to the room. Room service does not start until 8 am. We had what we hoped would be a special dinner in the Plank House, but it was terrible. Even a great seat by the window overlooking the bay couldn't save the poor service and tasteless food. The only people I would recommend this hotel to is someone, without children, who enjoys gaming in a small semi-smoky casino, who sleeps in or is willing to eat breakfast on the casino floor. We won't be returning.

My husband and I stayed at the Mill Casino Hotel this past weekend. We were checked in promptly upon our arrival. Our room was in the tower, on the fourth floor. The room was spacious, sparkling clean and comfortable. We did have one complaint during the first night...the room was warm and no matter how low we turned the thermostat, it never cooled off. The air conditioning was down in the entire building and they fixed it the next morning.
I enjoyed the casino but we aren't huge gamblers. We watched the Super Bowl in the Sports Bar. Had a great time! They set up a nice buffet for the game and entertained the crowd with games and give-aways throughout the football game. Our waitress was awesome and helpful. As a matter of fact, with the exception of the Millionaire's Club staff everyone was pleasant and helpful. The Millionaire's Club staff seemed a tad grumpy, but helpful nonetheless.
This isn't your Las Vegas experience. It's much quieter but still fun. I appreciated being able to walk outdoors along the river by myself without ever feeling concerned for my safety. After all, one of the best things about this place is the view.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mill Casino. The view of the bay was great, the staff helpful and friendly, but we really loved the pool policy. After 10:00pm children are not allowed at the pool and jacuzzis, this made a very relaxing, and enjoyable swim. Our only change would be to make it 9:00 pm.

The food at the Plank house was also excelent, again with a fabulous view.

We also paid tribute to the video poker machines...no comment here. :)

We did not stay here we just ate here.
Read several reviews about the crab melt at the Plank House restaurantat the Mill Casino
I ordered one with great hopes and what I got was hard to describe .
I did not eat it and took it back to our room for a photo.
Take a look and see what they served as a crab melt !
