Why is this place famous? I'm not sure. The chowder was watery and the food did not taste fresh. You can do better.

Mo's is "famous" for it's clam chowder. There are MANY restaurants that have much beteter chowder. Their's is more like potato soup with some clams. We have been to the other Mo's around the Oregon coast, and it is not much different. The food was average, and the service was average as well. It was cold and windy that day, so anything warm was welcomed.

After hearing all the hype of having to try Mo's while on the coast, decided to stop at this little restaurant, more like a hut while driving down the coast on a stormy afternoon. The restaurant is quaint and beautiful. Decorated with west coast attire, games on the tables, etc. HAD to try the clam chowder, it was just okay. Nothing amazing or life changing! We were on a quest to find the best chowder on the coast. This was not it, unfortunately. There was 1 server, he was great. It was a nice pit stop with a lovely view.
