“Fun even if you aren't a beer drinker!”

Love the food, atmosphere and local wines! My favorite is the ceasar salad. I also love the sweet potato fries, scotch egg and that they always have daily specials.

“Good food, good service, interesting atmosphere, great value”
Reviewed 30 September 2013

We went to this restaurant after leaving another one that wanted $40 for a half-pound steak. I suppose it was no coincidence there were no other customers there.

FORTUNATELY for us, The Prodigal Son Brewery and Pub was just across the street and looked interesting from the outside. It was more interesting on the inside, where the staff was friendly and efficient (i.e., good and friendly service), the food was great, and the prices did not defy gravity (great value for the money). The beer was excellent too, and cold as a ...

“Hang out with the locals”
Reviewed 27 September 2013

In Pendleton for just one night, we dropped in for a beer and a light dinner and were not disappointed. The atmosphere was inviting and casual, filled with families and couples of all ages. Service was excellent, warm and engaging. Food was good (we ate off the small plate menu) and beer was cold. What more can you ask when just passing through?

“The wings are amazing!”
Reviewed 21 September 2013

A great spot to stop for a couple of drinks and dinner.

The parm cheese, garlic and herb wings are amazing! Definitely worth getting. The mac & cheese was good to, but not as good as the wings!

“We Will Return”
Reviewed 12 September 2013

When we arrived at about 4PM on a Saturday, we were a little concerned that it was not busy which can be a sign that it is not good. As it played out we were lucky we arrived when we did as it got very busy almost right away. The pint of Hefeweizen with Grapefruit slice was different but very good. The Onion Rings were fantastic and I am glad we asked if they had half portions as even half was too much for 2 people. The burgers were great also. Great ambiance and glad we went to see downtown area which would not have happened had we not looked at Tripadvisor for suggestion on where to eat.
