When visiting the Tamástslikt Cultural Institute, (near the Wildhorse Resort) plan to have lunch at the institute’s Kinship Café. Just off the main reception area/museum entrance, it’s open for lunch only and features the celebrated foods salmon and huckleberries. Before venturing out there, my wife checked the online menu and noticed that all of the desserts were themed around huckleberries and in particular, huckleberry pie. The pie was the main attraction for us pie snobs and it was fabulous! The sandwiches and salads we had were tasty and fresh. We were honored to share in the history, culture and PIE.
