Room was Large and Clean Motel was updated clean and the staff very attentive I would recommend again to anyone for a cost effective place for events in Ashland. Management was friendly they put out a basic breakfast in very tight quarter office and always willing to accomdate any request we had. Room with Kitchen was very nice.

This 1950s style motel is clean, has a basic pool and is easy to load into and out of. It even provides a very basic complimentary breakfast in the check-in area. (Lobby is probably too grandiose a term.) But what it lacks in amenities it makes up for in thrift. $64 a night is a great price midway between the Britt (Jacksonville) and Oregon Shakespeare (Ashland) festivals. The owner was a nice fellow, too. I'd stay here again and put the money I save toward show tickets or meals.

We love this motel. The owners are really nice and sincere. It's ultra convenient and the rooms are massive for a motel. You could easily live here for some time. This is our second time here and it won't be our last. The kids has a good time in the pool as well. Going to the Shakespeare festival next door, this is perfect.

This motel was awesome given the price and season (high). I'm like all the others. The owner/managers are wonderful and very helpful. The room is clean and it's a quiet neighborhood. Our room was very large with a kitchen the same size as the one in my house. These are hard working, honest people that are clearly working hard to impress their clientele. Guess what? It worked. I'll be back again and again and again. Enjoy your stay!

We spent 5 nights at the Phoenix Motel and were extremely pleased with what we found. We were in Room 111 which appeared to be newly remodeled, nice carpeting, two beds that were comfortable and a kitchen. Looking out the back window was a beautiful green area. In the office each morning was a simple continental breakfast. The owners were very nice and made sure that we were comfortable. I would certainly stay there again.

Room Tip: The rooms in the back had a nice view and were quiet.

The owners take pride in this little quaint little motel. Barat is very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Room was very clean and updated with modern features and nice size room. It's a strait shot to downtown Ashland. With the money we saved staying here at Phoenix Motel we were able attend a Shakespeare play in Ashland and experience some great restaurants. We will indeed be returning soon! Thank you!

I've stayed here for nearly a month! The owner offers a discount for long-term stays, and in rooms with a small kitchen, fridge and private bath.

The managers, Barat and his wife Priti, are two truly wonderful people. Not only are they friendly, they think nothing in helping their guests with virtually any request they may have (within reason, of course. No... they will not reduce the noise of the cars driving by on 99 North (though if they COUILD I'm sure they would.... or at least try to.)

If you can't stand noise, I suggest you stay at some (much more expensive) motel or hotel in downtown Ashland. But for sheer comfort, cleanliness, convenience, price and the friendship of two truly gracious people, stay here. You will be grateful you did.)

PS - - - To anyone rating this motel anything less than four or five stars, get real! Evidently you also think you should be able to rent a room at the Gramercy Park or the Trump Soho in Manhattan for $10 a night. (Good luck with that.)

Room Tip: Read all the reviews you have time to read. But be aware what you're reading are the OPINIONS o...
