“WIND!!”
Reviewed 26 November 2012

We stopped by to checkout the lighthouse, but it was closed. Instead, we played in the strongest wind I've ever experienced. we took pictures of each other leaning over at impossible angles while the "breeze" kept us from falling.

“Quiet campground.”
Reviewed 9 October 2012

Beautiful sites - not crowded. However be ready for quick weather changes - can be windy (hedges shelter most sites) and fog can roll in quickly. No reservations (except for 4 cabins) so plan to be there early during the summer.

“Great campground”
Reviewed 28 September 2012

From tents to big rigs, this campground can accommodate them all. Most of the sites are huge, with lots of privacy. The showers are hot and comfy, and when the sun shines, it is such a beautiful place, with much to do and explore. I love to come back here every year. We always see whales, and completely relax. My favorite campground in the world!

“Oregon SP are THE best but this one is cooler and shadier”
Reviewed 11 September 2012

Just a 'skip' from the ocean, so its usually cooler and lots of fog and fully shaded spots. Several good hike/bike loop trails in/near the park so its worth a day or three.
