We spent three nights in Portland at this hotel. Being a suites hotel it had a seating area separate from the bedroom that included a couch, comfy chair and two stools, plus a computer desk. Also in the room were a refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave. The reasonable price of the room included a hot breakfast with many choices and, surprise, free drinks and a light dinner each night. The hotel is older, but well maintained. We'd definitely come back here again. It is just minutes away from the excellent Tri-Met and bus system here in Portland..It was not centrally located downtown, but we were satisfied with it's location. There was a pool and a spa as well as a nicely furnished exercise facility. Also, shuttle service was available free if needed.

Room Tip: Higher floors are quieter, but the rooms are all similar in layout as far as we could tell. There is no preference so far as view is concerned.

In town for the weekend and didn't want to spend a fortune on a hotel. Oxford Suites fit the bill perfectly and really turned out to be an excellent value. For $109/nt I got an executive suite, manager's reception (two beer or wine tickets per adult, salad and soup bar), and hot breakfast with made to order eggs. The hotel is close to the trail on the Columbia river (I assume it is called Jantzen Beach Trail?) which provided great views and relaxing walks. In addition, the hotel is centrally located and right off the freeway. We will be back.

This hotel is just off the I-5 so perfect for travelers going North and South. This property is just plain wonderful. The staff treats you like one of the family. The rooms are large, clean and the beds extremely comfortable. On arrival you are greeted with a glass of wine in the restaurant as well as soup and salad. A terrific breakfast.in the morning with eggs made to your specifications. Be sure and look on line for their monthly special. The prices are very reasonable especially for all the amenities.
Close to shopping at the Jantzen Beach Mall and restaurants are nearby.
Don't miss this hotel on your travels.

Room Tip: Suites are large and roomy and we always choose rooms at the back of building. So quiet.

My last stay was in 2012. Needed to review again this stay May 2014. Noticed lots of nice changes the rooms have at least had a lite updating along with the all the common areas they look & feel newer and fresh. The biggest change was in the restaurant lounge is much nicer with the feel of a good restaurant. More choices for evening drinks the snacks remained good. Breakfast is still great. The staff is helpful & friendly. With the location near the expo center,PIR I-5, and a easy drive to downtown. Makes it a good choice. Parking is free & good Wi-Fi.

Room Tip: Ask for a room near the backside they are quieter/ will still here the airport in the morning/ I like 3 floor too and not a pet owner I have ask the room not be a pet friendly room.
