Rooms are small but its clean and modern. Bed was pretty comfortable. In a unique location and close to the MAX. No iron in the room. We spent a lot of our time out of the room, so it was a good room for the price. I hate paying a fortune for a room you are hardly every in.

Nice hotel, there are two buildings. A four storey and a two story. We stayed in the two story. Check in was quick and easy. Two story is located across the street from main building. No elevator in this building. This hotel is 2 blocks behind Jen-Weld Stadium. We took Amtrak train to Portland. From Union Station it is two quick train rides. Never once wish we had a car as the trains and buses are fantastic. Rooms at the Inn are small. Two queen beds and a nightstand. Small bathroom, no closet just a small dresser.

Booked this hotel for my wife on expedia based on decent online reviews. Her room was on ground level by a walkway, people could peek into her room, somebody was stumbling on her door overnight, constant rumbling of iron staircase - she could not sleep because of noise and the sensation that somebody will break in any moments. Cleanliness was no great and she found bedbugs in the morning. Don't try to save money with this crappy hotel!

The rooms were very basic. I stayed in the annex of the hotel which was across the street from the main building that looked more like a motel. The rooms were clean and comfortable however, there was very loud street noise all evening and in the middle of the night. There isn't an elevator so, you'll have to lug your bags up to the upper floors by yourself. Service is average. Good value for the price, bring ear plugs.

Room Tip: Stay on the upper floors, away from the street noise.

We stayed at Park Lane during Portland's Cold Hard Cash deal. It's a great place and it's located in a perfect location.

It's pretty ghetto on the outside but our room on the inside was ok. Little amenities but it was cheap and close to downtown. Free parking tipped it over.

Room Tip: A lot of parking in the daytime but no parking spaces left in the evening, just a warning!

Stayed 2 nights on March 24 & 25, 2012 in the 1 bedroom suite. Everything was new, carpet, full kitchen (expect no oven & only two burners on stove), bedding etc & worked. Kitchen had all the basics and we cooked 2 full breakfasts and one dinner. Brought our own condiments. Flat screen TV was a plus & our 2 daughters were able to hook up their wifi and netbook to watch online streaming since we brought our own vga cable and movies. WIFI worked well.

Short walk down the hill to the MAX system. Never used our car for the entire 2 days. Many restaurants, fast food & super markets within walking distance. Front desk was very helpful and answered all of our questions. Lobby was smallish and like a living room.

This hotel is for those who want in city apartment style accommodations at a reasonable price and NOT for those who want large opulent style hotel with all the trimmings and costs that go with it.

We would stay here again when we come to Portland.

Room Tip: Use the MAX transportation system and save parking fees. Visit the Saturday Farmers Market (which i...
