Cool looking airport hotel - lots of design elements. Functional rooms, a bit on the small side, but perfectly fine for a one-night stay at the airport. Great sound-proofed windows, which is one of the most important criteria at an airport location. Free parking, free wifi, but no free coffee or tea....

The hotel is clean, efficient and perfect for one of the many late night or early morning flights into and out of PDX. Rooms are modest sized but plenty of spaces to put your bags etc. The lobby bar was a bit more lively than you would expect for an airport hotel if you are looking for that. One small complaint was that a lot of the employees were fairly new and we got the wrong info on some things such as where to get the rental car. The shuttle was efficient on the way to the airport but took a while when we arrived. We would stay here again for a trip from PDX.

This is a great hotel pretty close to the Portland Intl Airport.

This looks to be a pretty new property that is obviously very well maintained. Room was very clean and pleasant so were the public areas.

The hotel has no restaurant but is located in a small shopping center with a few decent chain restaurants including a IHOP for breakfast right next door. You will also find some shopping including Target, Marshall's, DSW within walking distance.

The hotel has a small but good lobby bar with a boutique feel. Packaged snacks are also available in the reception area.

The hotel also has a self service computer but printers were not working the day I was there. WIFI is available throughout the property for free.

The hotel is located close to a tram station if you fancy going in town. It also have a free, efficient airport shuttle service. Parking is also free. Small outside pool in an interior courtyard.

I found the hotel staff very personable, knowledgeable and courteous.

Aloft rooms are comfortable, nicely designed. It has the basic amenities of a mid-range hotel: Flat screen TV, iron and board, coffee maker and also a small fridge. Two free bottles of water is also a nice touch.

We stayed at this hotel on two different occasions in a week long trip to Oregon. The hotel is great as are the staff. The pool and fitness center are open 24 hours a day. Check in was a breeze and they are always asking you if you need anything. Kaylai at the front desk even remembered us when we came back several days later. She was very nice and seemed truly interested in our stay in the area and what we planned to do. As Starwood Gold members, we requested and received a late check out since our flight wasn't till late at night. It is also very convenient to the Portland Airport and you don't hear the airplane noise. It is just a block from the light rail as well.

Room Tip: We were on the 3rd and 4th floor. Get a room overlooking the parking lot which offers a great view...

We stayed at Aloft since all the downtown hotels were fully booked on a Saturday night. The hotel is a very modern design, with stylish lounge areas. They are definitely promoting a club vibe with live music events and lots of young people hanging out in the lounge. It’s low key though and it shuts down fairly early.

The room design was very nice, spacious with a separate bathroom/kitchenette area, and sleek modern furnishings. The only place where they messed up was the electrical system: it’s impossible to use the bathroom in the night without waking everyone up with the lights! Also the air conditioner was set on frigid and made one bed uncomfortably cold, it was also loud but that’s good since you can’t hear the airplane noise. Be sure to use the do not disturb tag, as housekeeping came twice to try to clean the room.

The location is at the airport, but actually wasn’t that bad since there is a big mall right across the street, as well as Target and Ikea nearby if you like shopping. The hotel is also next to public transit. You do need to drive at least 15 minutes to get to neighbourhoods like Alberta or Hawthorne, and it's 30 minutes from downtown.

The hotel tries very hard, they sent a welcome email before we left with the five day weather forecast. They have free bikes and are near riverside bike paths, they also have a nice little gym, a pool, and a pool table. The staff is young and hip and inexperienced, but quite friendly. All in all, it’s a nice hotel, and if you can’t find a better located option or need to catch an early flight, it’s a good option.

I arrived with tired kids around 11pm, the bar was open and nicely crowded but check in was easy, I requested an extra blanket and was given a sponge bob pattern - kind of funny. I like that the bar stayed open to 12 or 1 which was a bit unusual for an 'airport' hotel. It had a pool table, great outdoor space, landscaped nicely. Hotel is designed superbly, very open, love the fresh, clean and contemporary design and commitment to saving energy and water. Train to city is 1 block away, nicest 24 hr IHOP next door, big box retail center across the street. It is a nice refuge after hitting the town all day.
