“Breakfast with a view”

Great location and food. Great view of the river and Canadian Geese having a rest. Accomadated our 3 year old's request for pancake with cheese with a smile and a pancake with cheese.

Nice little restaurant/lounge. Fun vibe and feel. views of the river/city. The food was good (breakfast) and the menu was good size and plenty of choices.

“Best Happy Hour-All Day Sunday”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 November 2013

A year ago we went there to have dinner. My daughters loved the gourmet burgers. They have asked several times to go back. A Sunday in August we went back to eat. We were told it was happy hour all day on Sundays. What a wonderful surprise that was. The burger they loved was on special for half the price and my husband and I had several other happy hour items. All of which was delicious. Highly recommend and a hidden treasure. If you like oysters on the half shell they have them for a $1 on the happy hour menu. That might vary depending on the season. However, the seared tuna and the other items were wonderful too.

“way to expensive for the quality of food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 September 2013

I paid $20 for orange juice and some really good French fries. I ordered a salad that was a grilled half of romaine lettuce (yuck!) and soggy with no dressing that was extremely salty. I paid for it but did not eat it. I am glad we ate in the bar or else our bill would have been even higher for the same quality of food.

“Perfection”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 September 2013

There is no way I could fault this dining experience. The view was stunning, the service was swift and attentive, the prices were reasonable and the food! My goodness the food. Everything we ordered was interesting and perfectly balanced. It was showy but not overly chefy and rich. The chef had worked hard to bring out all sorts of wonderful flavor combinations instead of the usual assault on the palate of cream/butter/salt that you get in many premium restaurants. The presentation was artful. The decor and mood in the dining room was very restrained and tasteful. The server recommended some good wines. Three of the items we ordered were particularly exquisite: the duck pate with apricots and a home-made biscuit (appetizer), the blackberry pork ribs (main) and the fancy s'more (dessert). I implore you to eat here!
