We really liked the Grotto. Nice gardens, great art. Could have spent many hours there. Best for Catholics, but anyone can have a great experience here. Definitely go up the the upper level as there's much more to see.

Nice place to relax and ponder. Actually went here with the Christmas lights and that was pretty cool as well. Overall a good place to spend some time.

My father told me we had to visit when in Portland. The spectacular view from the top is towards the CRGorge, after you look past the somewhat run down neighborhood and the interstate. It was coll and damp, so not many blooming flowers. The shrines from around the world are interesting. Generally a quiet, peaceful place. If you are in the area, visit; but not the attraction I had anticipated.

Very nice place to visit not too far from downtown Portland. The grounds were well maintained and nice walk. It was peaceful and good feeling. The view from the top overlooking the city and the airport was amazing.

I would recommend this experience to everyone. It was a great walk through a beautiful mountain and left you feeling closer to God. The trees were amazing and the pictures I took are wall hanging worthy. I am not catholic but you do not have to attend the mass to have a spiritual experience here.
