The hotel has a great airport location. There is a great shopping/dining area within walking distance.

The front desk staff was adequate, but not overly friendly. The hotel was crowded.

The room was not a bad size with a nice flat screen. The sink is outside the small bathroom. The kitchen is nicely appointed.

I notice something sticking out from under my bed. It was a toilet cleaning brush. Nasty. I could not believe it. There was also a used shampoo container under the bed.

The hallways and elevators had quite a bit of debris on them.

With some attention to detail, this could be a great Residence Inn.

I have been to several Residence Inns in my day being a Marriott member. This one was probably the best overall that I have been to. Good sized indoor pool and a hot tub. Very good breakfast with healthy choices and pig-out choices. Great staff, very friendly. And the hotel must be fairly new as everything was very nice. Great location right by the airport to get wherever you need to go, and has a stop for the Portland light rail system right out the front door.

LOVED this place.
Nice and new, great space in our room, lots of amenities, WALKING DISTANCE TO TARGET (for groceries), 1/2 a block from the (very quiet) MAX train station. 30 minutes by train to downtown Portland and all the fun.
Yes, it's close to the airport and you can hear muffled airplane noises but it wasn't noisy enough to wake any of us from sleep.
You should stay here. Take the train in to downtown -- saves you all the fuss of finding parking etc, and Portland's light rail system is terrific.
I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Checked in at 6pm, checked out at 11am, so we only stayed one night, but it was a great experience. A one bed room (king size) cost about 145 dollars, but we split that in two so the individual cost was pretty small. We made use of the pool which was great, and the jacuzzi which almost made me pass out, that's how relaxing it was.

The room was clean and welcoming, smelled nice and everything was basically perfect as you'd expect from an airport hotel. The TV was a large LCD display with many plugs in the back, including DVI, HDMI and VGA (for those of you with older laptops). Abundance of towels in the bathroom, as well as more towels in the pool area.

Check-in and out was painless and quick. Highly recommend this place if you're traveling with one other person... otherwise it may be a bit too expensive.

One of the best Residence Inn I have been so far since it is pretty new. It is close to the airport and a mall, the metro train station is within walking distance. Perfect place if you do not need to be downtown. Just a bit overcharged.

The room is perfect for families. I have 2 kids so the stove, full size fridge and abundant space was very useful. Pool was a little cold but large enough. Steps away from Target and train station. Lobby area was interesting, you can have breakfast in one of their cubicles with your own flat screen.
