“Loved the bowl exhibition”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 May 2013

This is a smallish museum but worth a stop. They have friendly folks in the galleries to pique your interest and answer any questions--so a nice, personal touch. I had read about the bowl exhibition in the NY Times and it was thought-provoking with some outstanding examples in a variety of media.

“Fabulous Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 October 2012

Our visit coincided with the wonderful and fascinating " Design with the other 90% Cities" and what a treat this proved out to be. A relatively small but beautifully curated and set up exhibition about finding local solutions to the problems of slum dewllers around the world, involving local communities.

A humbling and eye opening exhibition , showing the ingenuity and skills of humans and a perfect insight into the too real problems and social issues faced by hundreds of millions of people every day in the third world and developing countries.

The Pottery exhibit upstairs was "interesting" ( hated all of it but I shall give it its due it is "different" and I most certainly hope that my Husband and I can visit again.

The Museum store is beautiful and an exhibit in itself and the ticket staff was utterly delightful and very helpful.

We were so impressed with the exhibition that my Husband is hoping to be able to import it to the UK !

Unusual and fascinating museum. Keep up the good work ! :)

“A great little Gem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 October 2012

This is a small museum, and had two main exhibit spaces. One of these was being installed when I went so it didn't take me long to get through the entire museum. One of the things I liked the best was a small space in the back where you could make your own clay sculpture and add beads and things to it, and add it to a large tableau with everyone else's creations.
