“Yet another museum to Holocaust”

it's nothing special, really, except that it's located in one of the nicest parts of town. If you are going to Jpanese garden or Rose garden you can stop here but it's really nothing special.

“incredible memorial”
Reviewed 18 October 2013

After having been to Yad Vashem in Israel and the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC, I would say that this small, yet powerful memorial is one of the most poignant. It is definitely worth visiting.

“Understated and moving”
Reviewed 17 October 2013

This is a good place to go if you want to think about peace, or you want to teach your kids about what happens when the beasts takeover. It's not an overwhelming memorial, and it won't leave you feeling devastated or ruin your day. But it will make you think, and remember.

“Interesting memorial”

Nice tribute to the Holocaust, good place to reflect on what happened to so many people during that terrible part of history.

“A somber,deeply reflective experience.”
Reviewed 2 October 2013

This simple memorial, almost hidden in Washington Park left me emotionally drained and then strengthened . I did not expect to find a Holocaust Memorial in Portland. A beatiful curved wall with a history of the period and deeply moving quotations engraved on the wall left me tearful but gratefull to spend some moments in quiet solitude. Once you get to Washington Park directions are clearly marked.. I am grateful to those who contributed to this Memorial of Remembrance.
