We were sent to this restaurant by our hotel concierge (The Heathman). The food was good, but we will never return. This was among the noisiest, most unpleasant restaurants I have experienced. I was not more than 12 inches from my neighbor on the right, who was shouting at his table mate in order to be heard. My table mate, my wife, was about 3 feet away; we could not have a conversation. If this had been a job site, OSHA would have shut it down for noise violations.
Perhaps as bad, when we complained to the manager, Mr. Neely, his response was at best indifferent and even rude. He did not give a damn about us or our experience. Our server, on the other hand, was sympathetic and told us that many diners have the same problem.
Diners, there are so many great chefs and restaurants that are sincerely trying to create a good dining experience, including food, ambiance, and service. This is not one of these.

This downtown bistro is an offshoot of Le Pigeon and has been highly recommended. Four of us went for lunch. It was crowded, mostly with work groups, but we got a table in s reasonable amount of time. So far, so good. Then, it appeared we slipped into a black hole. The service was excruciatingly slow, from set up through the entire process. We had to ask staff for everything. The menu is pretty typical bistro fare. Two of us ordered the day's special, a version of duck confit on a bed of root vegetables. The other two ordered salads. It took forever and about three different staff to get served. When we finally got our food, the salads were fine, but the duck was dried out and wizened and the vegetables were spongy. Nothing had any flavor. Very disappointing.

What more can I say. This place is exceptional. We ate at little bird 3 nights in a row and really loved the experience. Don't miss this place.

Had reservations for 4 with confirmation, when we arrived they said oh, we have you down for 2, we can split you up if you like. Well we didn't want to do that this was a business dinner. We left, and will never return again. They didn't seems fazed at all regarding their mistake. Go else where, not worth the risk of your reservation not being honored.

Great food, service and ambiance.
If this restaurant were in LA you would have to beg to get a reservation
