Clean and quiet place. Had business a few miles away and was easy access. Staff kind and courteous. There is a fee for parking which is a bit hefty. Breakfast it ok but included in cost of room and better than other places I have stayed. Nice size rooms with kitchen makes it feel like home.

We got a great price on spacious room with a kitchenette through Priceline.com. We arrived a bit early, but the staff were polite and able to check us in immediately. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet. After a night on the town, we returned to our room to find a hand written card from the staff and a gift bag which included 2 local craft beers - nice touch! The buffet breakfast was good and included in the price of the room. The hotel is well situated within walking distance to downtown, and there is a tram stop directly beside the hotel which takes you right downtown. The hotel also offers a 12 pm check out time and express checkout. The only thing that was a little pricey was the parking at $26/night, but I guess that's pretty standard. We would definitely stay there again. Good value!

This hotel is better than most Residence Inns. You can walk downtown in ten minutes and catch the streetcar right outside the hotel. River Place area has grown alot; places to eat, drink, and grab coffee abound! Gym is very spacious and is also well-equipped, with free weights ranging from 3 lbs to more than I will ever attempt, four exercise balls, a BOSU ball, and weight and cardio machines. If you want exercise classes, you can walk over to the River Place Athletic Club and use their facility for $10. Pool is nice and large, too. Breakfast options are plentiful (again, more than most Residence Inns), and hotel offers free Wall Street Journal (a real plus!).

The beds were really comfortable and I slept really well.
I liked the kitchen aspect and full size fridge, always nice to have those when staying longer than 2 nights. Microwaves and medium sized coffee pot help too.
As for the are, it isn't downtown but there is a street car right outside that will take you downtown. And taxis can always pick you up, though it does take a little longer for them to make it down here. A few restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel, which was nice.
My only dislike was that the bathroom is dark. There is a light above that is fine, but once you are in the shower, it is really dark (hard to shave your legs). I removed the outside shower curtain, leaving just the clear one so I could see.

Room Tip: On the third and fourth floor (west facing side only), like rooms 420 and 424, have balconies with a...

This place is perfect...great location, comfortable well-appointed rooms, great breakfast, super friendly staff. Easier to get in and out of than most of the hotels in the downtown core, although you won't be as easily within walking distance of some of the downtown attractions.

As a business traveler, this hotel provided what I needed: wifi, location close to downtown restaurants, clean/comfortable rooms. But it seemed built for traveling families in need of more space for an extended stay. The rooms themselves are suites and include a dining table and kitchen, complete with a calendar of activities on the refrigerator. It also serves both a breakfast and dinner buffet.

The beds in this place are amazing!! Extremely comfortable. I was in a King Studio........plenty of room, full kitchen. The breakfast was great, hot and cold options, lots of variety. Courteous staff. Parking here is outrageous ($26 a day)......but it is downtown and comparable to parking anywhere else downtown. The only real complaint for the room I was in........the heating/cooling fan was very loud and the toilet kept making noise.

Room Tip: 635 needs the weird noises fixed.
