“Best Park & Fly in PDX”

We have stayed many times at the Comfort Inn & Suites on 102nd & have never been disappointed. You can leave your car in their lit parking lot at no charge. They will shuttle you to your airline drop off point anytime day or night. The morning breakfast is plentiful with hot & cold items and several juices and coffees to choose from. Their rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The desk staff is always helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I Stayed three nights at this hotel. Air conditioner did not work at room #201 so I got another room after I complained to the manager.

I left my camera charger with a battery in the room, I contacted this hotel three times want to pay shipping cost and get back my charger and battery, no response at all, poor customer service.

This hotel is located in a light industrial section of Portland next to railroad tracks. Its main attraction is its proximity to Portland International Airport and major freeways.
Despite the name there was no hint of a suite, not even a short room partition or couch.
We asked for a room that did not face the tracks. We were given a room on the side and were pleased to be completely unaware of the trains all night. We did not need the airport shuttle but it ran frequently and was a big consideration for other guests.
The exterior and parking lot was clean and well lit. The lobby was small but clean and efficient with free coffee and newspapers. The staff was pleasant, nicely dressed and handled the check in and check out process efficiently. We had advanced reservations and arrived around 2:00 p.m. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a room with our preferences to be ready but the staff made our short wait comfortable.
The room was the standard Comfort Inn value we have come to expect - clean, generous king-sized bed, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and free Wi-Fi. The toilet bowl had not been cleaned and showed some light "soil" but the overall cleanliness was otherwise good. We slept undisturbed by any outside noise or noise from other guests who appeared to be mostly familys and airport travelers.
The free breakfast was entirely adequate with a variety of cereals, pastries, fruit and beverages. Free local newspapers and Wall Street Journals were particularly appreciated.
The pool and exercise room were small with three pieces of exercise equipment close together.
At $65 plus taxes the room was a solid value and one that we will return to as we travel across the country.

Thank you for taking the time to inform others about your experience at our hotel. I am sorry to find that your expectations for a Suite room were not met. Our hotel is a Inn & Suites so we offer a few Suite rooms for those travelers that need a little more space; however the room you were in was just a standard room. Our King Suites offer a large living area a seperate bedroom area and our double queen family suites offers one large room with two queen beds and a sofa with a pull out bed. We look foward to seeing you next time you are in our area :)

We were greeted enthusiastically by the front of house staff, We had a very nice room. This is a boutique hotel, not too small but not one the the HUGE impersonal hotels.

We had had a disaster with one of our suitcases and needed to sort it out. The Manager of Comfort Inn, and his staff could not have been more helpful.

Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Our farewell was as friendly as our greeting on our arrival

LOCATION = Easy to get to and easy to launch from. There is some train noise from time to time, and an occaisional rattling of the windows - however it was really no issue for us. The trash truck made more noise than the train.

ROOMS = Clean and adequate space, in room coffemaker, fridge, and microwave if you need it. The bed was far more comfortable than the bed at a much "nicer" hotel we stayed at the following week.

AMENITIES = Indoor pool, we didn't use, but the area appeared clean. The breakfast is pretty basic, lots of cereals and pastries - limited selection of anything else. Just enough to ward off the morning tummy rumblings.

STAFF = We checked in on a Sunday morning and front desk was merely doing her job, we got a smile out of her later in the evening. Checking out on Monday we found a front desk person with a personality and smiles to go with!

DOWNSIDE = The weekend of the time shifting to Daylight Savings and the room clock was not set - so we barely got our coffee the next morning before the area closed. No real harm done, just a minor frustration.

There was an argument taking place in a room next to ours and we had to call the front desk - not their fault - they said they would contact the guest, and we never heard another peep.

It's nothing fancy, but not bottom of the line either - it's reasonable and comfortable.

The restaurant next door was adequate for an easy dinner.

Convenient to airport and rental office for the car we rented. Shuttle servicde is scheduled, so be advised of that. I thought the room needed a little maintenance, but it was clean and had all we needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is not wonderful, so would not want to walk around at night. Our experience was acceptable, tho I would look for a different hotel another time.

My daughter and I stayed here one night since we had an early morning flight the next day. The front desk staff was efficient and friendly, there was a computer in the lobby so I could check on my flights and print out our boarding passes. There was an indoor pool and spa. I really liked having a microwave and fridge in the room. The room was very clean and the bathroom was immaculate. No on-site restaurant, but there were restaurants on either side, which we could walk to. Continental breakfast the next morning had many choices. There is a 24-hour shuttle service to the airport. We had a rental car, and driving to the airport took less than 10 minutes. Everything went smoothly and I was grateful for the stress-free good night's sleep!
