I stayed in the Inn at Northrup Station for a business trip in Portland. This is a nice little hotel, close to the city. Be prepared, it's bright -- like Pepto Bismol meets neon green and purple everywhere, bright. I slept well and probably would have enjoyed the in-room kitchen had I been staying there longer.
The only reason I give it a four our of five is because it has a bit of a "dorm room" feel to it. I could hear the refrigerator running in my room AND they make you go put your parking permit in your car -- can't they just take our license plates??! I'm also a little picky and look for hairs in the bathroom, and there was a long black one -- but c'mon, I know hair-free is a lot to expect. The staff and early morning breakfast (included) is lovely. I'd stay here again, but if I was here for pleasure, I would probably make my guy wear a blindfold so he wasn't overwhelmed with color clash! ;)More
