“Convenient to Hotel Monaco”
Reviewed 16 September 2012

You can walk to the bar from the Hotel Monaco's lobby. Their "happy hour" is a lot of fun because of the beer selection, great food, and amazing prices. Everyone in the bar is friendly. The ambiance is woody with nice windows looking outside so you don't feel like you are in a cave.

“Obvious choice if at Hotel Monaco”
Reviewed 10 September 2012

This spot has an outstanding selection of bourbons and not a bad group of beets on tap. The happy hour pricing is outstanding; we easily made an inexpensive meal out of a handful of happy-hour priced items. The shoestring fries and brown butter popcorn were particularly delicious. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. If I lived in the area, I'd be there every night.

“excellent happy hour!”
Reviewed 10 September 2012

great drink prices and good appetizers. The atmosphere was warm with an old-bar feel. The restaurant area had nice booths for seating. We especially liked their "red star" alcoholic beverage. Yummy and only $5.

“Good service”
Reviewed 10 September 2012

We went several times since we were staying at the Monoco. The service was excellent each time. We went for happy house and had an excellent pork appetizer, also a cod ceviche, I wasn't wild about the ceviche, The bruchetta was interesting. We also went for breakfast which was delicious but large, and dinner which was excellent also.

“Love the ambiance of the bar!”

Beware of their 9.00 Bloody Mary made with their homemade mixer which is terrible and such a rip off for 9.00 otherwise it's a great place.
