“Great view, average food”
Reviewed 5 July 2014

I like how the interior of this restaurant is designed to maximize on the view. It has three different tiers so that all diners have a good view of the Willamette river. The rest of the meal was forgettable although I do like this chain's rolls.

“Great view, ok food, bad service”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

Was here for a dinner on a Saturday evening. It's never a good sign when after you check in, you stand around for about 4 minutes while they "look for" your table.

It took several minutes after sitting down before we got water. It was just room-temperature water. I had to ask for ice separately. And our glasses never got another refill after that.

I ordered wedge salad and the shrimp sampler. After my salad arrived, I noticed that some tables had bread, but we didn't. So had to ask the waiter to bring us some bread. The bread was hot, but fairly tasteless.

My shrimp sampler had 8 shrimps on the plate. While they were decent, I was hoping for a few more shrimp. The accompanying string beans was tough and tasteless.

Afterwards, it took forever to get the check. The waiter seems chatty, but so much so that even after we asked for the check, he was chatting at other tables. Not good service.

The only good thing is the view. Being next to the harbor, you get a decent view of water. But you also see the elevated I-5 also.

Parking is not free either. FIrst half hour is free at nearby public garage. Restaurant give you another half hour for free.

“You just can't go wrong with M&S - and what a view!”
Reviewed 21 June 2014

Lots of outdoor tables with shade and a lovely view of the water and boats. Food was excellent, as it is at all M&S restaurants I've been to across the country. I love their chopped salad! Easy walk from the area hotels. M&S is a chain, yes, but the food doesn't taste like it!

“Excellent view of the waterfront”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

Restaurant is directly in front of the marina with seating on the seawall. Excellent view of the water from our table on the seawall. We had the set lunch special which included a soup or salad. The Fish & Shrimp lunch came with fries. The fish and fries were too greasy for our liking.

The restaurant is a short distance to downtown and a harbor front park; great after lunch walk destinations.

“Fantastic Meal”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

Arrived at 8:00pm so it was easy to get a table. The staff was prompt and attentive without being overbearing. Enjoyed the bacon wrapped shrimp and lobster bisque for our starters and moved on to the Alaskan Salmon w maple whiskey glaze, (part of their 35th anniversary menu). Dessert was the chocolate bag with white chocolate mousse and fresh berries which was, to say the least, decadent! A bit pricey, but a well deserved splurge to wrap up our trip to PDX.
