The food was delicious but tables were too close I could hear next table's conversation and the waiter kept bumping to me. They cramp as many people as they can in this restaurant. The food was great but price a bit too high. We paid $150 for 4 people, we didn't have any alcohol.

Fabulous late dinner - kobe carpaccio to start, steak and stroganoff both amazingly tasty and perfectly cooked. Excellent wait staff service, never bothersome but always alert in case you needed something. And can't forget to mention the hot-from-the-oven dinner rolls! Including 2 mixed drinks (loved the "captain mojito"), came to $75 total.

We were in town for a conference and randomly chose this restaurant. The food was fabulous! Tiny little plates of inexpensive and tasty little morsels. Shrimp bruschetta, great calamari with battered lemons...,yes lemons, polenta fries, etc. great drink special and super friendly waitress. Location and atmosphere were just okay.

This place has a sterling reputation, and it almost deserves it.

Positive: Superb environment; clean; very attentive staff; professional atmosphere; jovial clientele; multiple, large rooms (so great capacity without seeming cavernous); tasty food; full bar with competent bartender.

Not Positive: Food temperature problem (see below); very pricey; parking.

The baked potato was so cool that it couldn’t even melt butter. I returned it to have it heated up. They brought a new one (that’s nice) that still couldn’t melt butter either. Butter was cool but not frozen. This is a bad mark against what’s supposed to be an excellent dining experience.

Would I go again? Yes.

Breakfast made to perfection. Everything about it was delicious! Everything fresh. The tables set with white linen. Walls cozy dark wood paneling. Felt like you were in an old Capitol Hill House. Warm and inviting!
