“Just ok...”
Reviewed 15 August 2014 via mobile

Saw this advertised in the airport and thought it would be fun. But when we got there and took it up, we found out it just went up to a bunch of hospitals so we came right back down. There were great views of Portland, but not worth it to me. Good thing we only paid a few bucks each.

“Simple, fun, and cheap”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

We were able to see Portland. Great view, quick and not too crowded. Too bad there is no stores to see and no coffee shop.

“4-T Trail ends by taking this scenic tram down”
Reviewed 14 August 2014

if you enjoy hiking in the forest a few miles from downtown Portland, Google Portland 4-T Trail and follow the direction by taking the public transportation to Portland highest point of Council Crest Park for a great view, then hike, 90% downhill, 2.6 miles In a forest, another 1/2 mile walk to the hospital's aerial tram down to Moody Street area. On Moody Street, walk south 3 blocks to the food trucks with tables and chairs. Two of us had a great $16 lunch of Tri-Tip Steak Salad, Thai ice tea, Eggplant & Tofu with rice and Fried Tofu with Peanut Sauce.

“Great views, short trip”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

I had seen the tram from the highway and wanted to explore it. The trip is very short, but does provide a great view of the city and the mountains. The destination is the Oregon State University medical centre that provided us a lovely shady spot to relax on a very hot Portland day. The trip is $5 for adults, but makes for a good 1-hour outing for the kids.

“Part of the 4T Hike”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

This tram is part of the 4T Hike in Portland: train, trail, tram and trolley. You can start at the zoo and end at downtown Portland or vice versa. Besides the practical function of the tram for the people working in the hospital, tram is open to the public for small fee. The fee is absolutely worth the price to see beautiful aerial views of Portland!
