I'm so stuffed! Generous portions of delicious comfort food. Hard to stop eating. Went there after reading about on Trip Advisor and a Yelp. Well deserved positive feedback. Arrived about an hour after opening on weeknight and had to wait for about an hour. We had a party of ten but hostess was wonderful and kept us updated as to when our table would be ready. We tried several dishes amongst the group including fried chicken, brisket, fish, pulled pork and burgers. The burgers were 10 oz patties each. You can switch regular for sweet potato fries. The latter were the best I've personally had. The fried chicken portion was huge and came with mashed potatoes. It was not greasy and batter went down nicely with house hot sauce. The brisket was "melt in your mouth" good - yum yum! We were too full for dessert but what others at neighboring tables were eating also looked delicious. There were still people waiting outside to be seated when we left restaurant at 9 pm. My advice - skip lunch on the day you plan on eating dinner here. You will need the room to pack away more food and save space for dessert!
