“Beautiful hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2014

Rooms were nice, beds comfortable, though it seemed small. You can get a complimentary refrigerator if requested. Bistro was fun, can't address food since we didn't eat here. The air conditioning system in the room is VERY noisy! Great location in the middle of Portland. Concierge named Robert was terrific, very knowledgeable and mindful of what we were looking to accomplish. I would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Can't say. We had a high corner room, was not quiet, the hallway was noisy as was the air condi...

This is a good example of a Hilton. It is situated in the heart of the city and is about two blocks from a light-rail station. You have to pay for parking, but that's to be expected based on its location. My king bed room on the 8th floor was in great shape, but it wasn't the largest room I've ever stayed in. The view out was nothing special. The staff was helpful and courteous. Within a few blocks walking distance, there are plenty of restaurants and bars. I would stay here again.

Other then the location, there is really nothing special about this Hilton property. It is the usual hotel room but even on the high floors the view was nothing special, as our room overlooked some parking lots and other high rise buildings. There is a "Hotel restaurant and bar", but nothing notable. You pay for parking your car, just FYI.

This is a great hotel in the middle of the action in Downtown Portland. The food, choice, selection and preparation in the Bistro was very good. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Room was on the smaller side, but clean, comfortable and included what a I expected from the hotel. The hotel is convenient to bus lines and light rail, which makes getting around downtown inexpensive and fast. There is ample parking in the hotel ramp, but keep in mind you have to get used to the traffic flow in downtown Portland. Some streets are three lanes, but two are lanes on some streets are reserved for public transportation. This makes turning a challenge and going around a block or two is not out of the question. The location in Portland is a nice change of pace, pretty safe, and really gives you exposure to what Portland is known for, it's wierdness.

Room Tip: If you can get an upgraded room to larger beds, that would be good. Our view was as good as expecte...

I stayed at this hotel for a conference in July. It was located a block from Pioneer Square and had easy metro rail access, near excellent restaurants. It was also only a 20 min walk from the Pearl district. The room was a corner view with a very comfortable king bed. The room and bathroom were clean and overall the room was nice. The room service was fast, friendly (food was good!). Maid service was quick and thorough, with a cheerful smile and hello in the hall as you passed by. The only negative was the price-- it was high in my opinion-- and wifi is extra. But the Portland area is expensive, so this is to be expected to some degree. I would stay there again.

Room Tip: I would pay the extra 10$ a night for a corner room. it is back out of the way and away from "n...

The room prices were quite high, but that was expected. The room, bed, and bath were all fine. While there is free wifi in the lobby, not in the rooms, there you have to pay extra. The breakfast is too expensive, over 20 dollars the first day. I learned there was a cheaper buffet breakfast in the sister building across the street, but even that was 16 dollars.
