What a wonderful experience! We went on a tour of this family owned business and not only learned a lot and enjoyed ourselves but were able to taste some wonderful cheese! The flavors were rich and distinct. There is such a difference between mass market cheese and cheese like we tasted at Cada Dia. We also had an opportunity to see the cows being milked, the process of making the cheese, and where the cheese is stored. It was a very personal tour; they made everyone feel very welcome.

“What a gem of a find!”
Reviewed 28 July 2013

If you are in the Bend/Prineville, OR areal, a trip to Cada Dia cheese dairy farm is not to be missed. It is owned by the Sullivan Family and operates as a small cheese making facility. They have a herd of 22 grass fed Jersey cows and make their cheese without artificial colors or flavors. If you call ahead and sign up for a tour, Cher will take you through the entire process, which is so interesting, and then let you sample. Totally fabulous and I guarantee that you will never look at grocery store processed cheese in the same way. They have a small dairy case where their different cheeses are sold. Of course we purchased some amazing ones to share with friends and neighbors. Cheddar, flavored cheddar, farmers, double cream and feta...... It was definitely a fun and educational visit!

“Hidden Treasure”
Reviewed 27 December 2012

Tucked away from the small town of Prinville on a lesser traveled back road is the up and coming Cada Dia Dairy Farm, owned and operated by the Sullivan Family. Specializing in grass fed, organic, non-processed cheese, they seem to be filling a niche for the "farm to table" movement. On certain days of the week (we happened by just at the right time; but they have times and days posted to their site), they offer insightful, casual tours of their cheese making operation and cleverly cover the "soup to nuts" of cheese making. Interesting and fun!!
